Firebirds Wood Fired Grill

Ate here tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. We sat out in the patio which was very nice. Had the “Chili Guavarita” which was very tasty. We got the deviled egg appetizer which was very good as well. For my meal I had the bacon bleu cheese filet which was delicious and my wife got the sea bass which she was very happy with as well. Even the bread was fresh and very good. Would definitely come back some time!

I like my ribeye medium well+ which is usually difficult to make. This restaurant cooked it exactly as I like it (everyone has their preferences). The mushrooms are amazing. The complementary bread is thick, moist, but also soft. Entrance is at rear of building. Atmosphere has dim lighting, which adds a romantic experience to already comfortable seating. Staff is very friendly and professional. More to explore than just steak. Overall quality is proportional to price. Can't complain. Lively choice of music of casual country. Edit: After exploring "similar" restaurants, I'm missing this place already and hope to return soon. It can be difficult to find unique restaurants that don't come with awkward twists. This place did not disappoint. 😀

So I was driving back to Michigan from Kentucky and decided to stop here just on a random Google search for food near me. Do not, do not go anywhere else if you're in this area! They started me off with some fresh bread and butter and we were off to a good start! My server Michelle was so incredibly knowledgeable and helpful about the food here. Make sure to tip her well! For my appetizers I chose the lobster spinach queso and the Philly cheese steak egg rolls, both were phenomenal! They use prime rib meat and a Thai chili and hot mustard sauce that goes wonderfully together in the eggrolls! You will not be disappointed, the lobster spinach queso was aesthetically pleasing to say the least with the tri-color tortilla chips. The dip itself was creamy and fresh with beautiful lobster chunks that flavor the whole thing. For my entree I ordered the wood grilled salmon, this is probably the best time and I've ever had in my life. You will never be disappointed if you order this. I'm definitely going to make it a point to travel here in the future and stop here whenever I'm in the area, just too specifically eat here again.

Our server Olivia was excellent 💪🏼 We started with the lobster queso which was really good. I ordered the Cajun ribeye my husband had the bacon wrapped filet with shrimp. My steak was absolutely delicious my husbands was too 😅 lol…I really liked the wood grilled shrimp great color and flavor. But the southwest au gratin potatoes were best thing on the menu. I could literally eat those potatoes once a week 😂. I ordered the 7 layer lemon cake with blueberry compote. It was AMAAZZINNNGGG!!!! Great dining experience overall, The service the food and ambiance.

I definitely recommend reservations, got us right in and seated. This being our first time we weren't sure the level of dress, we could have dressed more casually and been just as comfortable. Our server was friendly and attentive and our meals came out in a good time. We all enjoyed our meals which were plated beautifully. Portion sizes were right at meal sized. Even with an appetizer and bread we didn't have leftovers but too full for dessert.

I had really wanted to try this place for a while... and although I was only craving chicken wings... they were delicious and so was the garlic ranch! The reason for only 2 stars.... I expected more from such a nice establishment. 1. The waitress kept putting her finger in her ear, several times... or she'd scratch her in head. Just weird and gross. 2. Although, it was not busy, our waitress rarely came to the table. She never came after we got our food... even though we needed drink refills. 3. We were looking for her since the broccoli we got had mold spots in it. (And it looked like older cuts of broccoli with the dark cut edges.) So when we finished our wings at least, she finally did come to bring our check and ask about the food, that's when we showed her. She inspected the broccoli herself, agreed on the mold, then said she would take it back and let them know. That was it..... No replacement and certainly not a discount/ comp. 3. Last, not huge deal but... I asked for celery and I got it. However, normally I would get the better/ more appealing center parts of the stalk. This came with only the top or bottom portions and it wasn't even thoroughly cleaned. Just disappointed since I held them to a higher standard.

I LOVE Firebirds’ food. I like to place pick-up orders, getting kids meals. I prefer the kids cheeseburger well-done because it has less salt/seasoning than the adult one. Their fresh steamed vegetables were delicious! I love their TOTS (haha)! Pretty sure I got an Oreo cookie with the kids meal, too. (I will admit, I initially went there because that’s where Kim and Ye took their kiddos, when Ye and Chapelle came together for the tragic shooting in Dayton.) The staff I’ve encountered have been sweethearts, and the food was guaranteed to be delicious! Yay.
