Conch It Up Soul Food

Stopped here the other day. We were in the area at a friend's house and wanted a quick bite eat. So I googled restaurants near. I am so glad I did best seafood I have had in a while. Everything was seasoned well and the food was hot out the grease fresh. My daughter could not stop talking about the 🍤 and conch all night long 😂.

We got the sweet & sour conch (sides: crab & shrimp salad, peas in rice, & yams), grilled shrimp (sides: green beans, peas in rice, & mac & cheese), and couch & fries dinners. Also, a slice of sweet potato pie. They have some really good conch and crab & shrimp salad (no shrimp was in it..smh), but I didn't like their rice & peas (no peas was in it..smh), yams, nor sweet potatoe pie...it was such a disappointment. Their green beans were ok, but were too vinegary and their mac & cheese was ok, but the noodles were overcooked...smh If I go back here it would be for the couch 👍🏽👍🏽

Okay, this restaurant was listed on channel 10 news site as the top 3 restaurant in liberty city. I never heard of this plave and since I pass the area, I had to stop by to give it a try. Now the owner was very nice/friendly and her daughter (thank you for cooking my food). Thst I gave it 5 stars, cleaniess, friendly, conversation and the food is good. I was very impress with the rice being flavorful but not salty. Conch, mac/cheese, beans were good but I'm not the vinegar type but all is on point. And I'll be going back this is my view point, I did read prior reviews which was good and gave it a try and its black owned👍👍
