Bahamian Connection

I visited here for the first time today with my father and grandmother. The restaurant was busy at lunchtime but we were seated immediately. Daniel was our server and he was one of the best servers I've ever had. He was professional, charismatic, and attentive. The food was delicious and prepared perfectly. I highly recommend visiting here.

This place was pretty terrible. The food was good, but the 20 min wait in a space with the AC off, followed by the 40 min wait for my co worker's food was too much. We asked for the AC to be turned on and they turned it up seemingly 2 degrees. It barely helped. When I left I was wet with sweat. I never got offered water, I was never given silverware or napkins, and upon payment, I was asked for ID, zip code, and phone number. The experience did not instill any confidence.

I ordered conch salad, tropical style and it was absolutely superb! Presentation and most of all taste was so fresh :-P. The service was courteous & professional. On the downside, the wait was over 30 minutes for just that. Mind you, there were only two other patrons in the restaurant. Tip, don't arrive starving.

First visit there was today and the waitress is a mess. She spoke above a whisper and was not hospitable at all. She did not greet us upon coming in an non chalantly advised we could seat ourselves. I ordered shrimp and two sides , my partner ordered conch and two sides. We ordered a conch salad to share and tab was $60 and this was lunch! The food took forever and there were literally only two other tables there. The food is okay. I can say the lemonade and mac n cheese was good. Other than that I would not return. My shrimp was tough and under seasoned. The shrimp was covered in over cooked veggies as well.. PerhAps to hide how many they actually give you. Save your time.

Food was super awesome! Need a few more appetizers tho. And the waitress needs help because it took forever to order our food and she seems to forget orders. I think she just has too many things to do. She's the only one here when I come. Also could be decorated better. Well at least the food was great! Also, they ran out of macaroni and cheese! That needs to NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN! BUT the chef promised to make is a pan after complaining. We had to wait awhile, but finally we got macaroni. Whew! That was scarey....
