7-eleven

All too common, the line gets backed up, and only one associate is at the register while the other is in the back or doing whatever they do, but they never ask for back-up forcing the line out the door with social distancing in effect. This was the same scenario when I went. There was only one associate and the other was in the back. I like 7-11 but the associates do not work together and no matter how long the line only one register was open. The associates at this store and the one about a mile east can have nasty attitudes and work extremely slowly and with no regard to customer service.

I stopped coming here awhile ago when Exprezo opened across the street, but I came in last week because I had a bad experience at Exprezo (their customer service is atrocious) I was happy to see this 7-11 is under new management since the last time I came and the new franchisee is trying hard to clean it up. It won’t be an easy task, but it’s good to see them making an effort. They were power washing the outside of the store late at night and one of their staff members was actually trying to clean graffiti off the gas pumps. Who even does that? I’m going to start coming here again. They don’t have as much fresh food as Exprezo, but I don’t usually buy fresh food from places like this anyway. They have a huge selection of drinks, a ton of gas pumps, and their apple fritters are damn good!

This is my neighborhood gas station but my family and I would rather drive blocks away to go elsewhere for better customer service. My husband plays his lottery faithfully but everytime he walks across the street to play his numbers, the machine is always covered and he is told it is out of order. He was told when he complained to another employee that the other employees do that not because it isn't working but because they don't want to be bothered with it to hold up the line. When my husband went back on another day once again it was covered and when he called them out, they took his lotto purchase. They do not value their customers, so we are more than happy that another gas station opened up right across from them!

Store itself is bright spacious and full of great items. There's even a convenient Amazon locker pickup box. The service could definitely be better and sometimes a lot of the pumps go out of service, but more than often it's a good stop for gas or a quick snack. Theres also an air and vacuum machine.

The place is clean and organized, except for the restroom.but there is something with the employees they hire, one lady always has her shirt dirty (and I've seen her start her shirft) another has never said good morning or a thank you, only thing she does is ring items up and sometime doesn't even tell you the total, she just keeps on talking to her friends. There's only two Latin ladies that are really cool, but I think one is the manager.(they all need training).
