I'm not hard-core vegan yet but have been incorporating healthier options into my diet. I have known Hakin for 26 years now and had to visit his spot now that I am in town visiting family. I tried the supreme pizza and short ribs and was truly amazed! I may jump the fence and go strict vegan after this experience. The staff is great and informartive as well! This restaurant is a must do if you live on or are visiting South Florida!
We were vacationing in South Beach Miami and were looking for affordable vegan food. Went on a hunt for one place and it was closed. Googled Caribbean vegan restaurants and this place popped up. I'm so glad the other spot wasn't open because we would not have had the opportunity to experience Hakin. The food was delicious. There was something for the entire family to eat. The cakes are great and the fresh juice is to live for! � Meeting Hakin was great also. He and our 3 years old hit it off and now we have a friend for life! And all this happened on Christmas eve!
Ordered delivery from here based off the excellent reviews, and I was not disappointed. Everything had great flavor, and huge portions. I’ll definitely eat here at again but at the actual restaurant. Highly recommend!
Visited this vegan gem today, absolutely love the ambiance and energy of this place, the owner and staff are so welcoming. I ordered the banh mi and the all American cheeseburger & the red velvet cake. Everything was spectacular. Definitely will visit again. They have an expansive menu and lots of healthy drink/snack options available while you wait for your food.
What a wonderful experience eating here. This place is full of love and savory food. I was so impressed by their utensils and plates which were biodegradable. Zero waste is being practiced here and the people who work here are filled with so much compassion and great energy. Excellent service, unique style of different foods. Absolutely love the plant based Caribbean themed style incorporated into the food. If you’re in the area don’t hesitate to check this

Ok so I’m going to keep it 💯 with this review. I ordered the lemon pepper jerk chicken ( seitan) with quinoa, steamed veggies and a side of lentil soup. I also purchased the Golden Monkey smoothie.
1st let’s talk about the food. Everything was super tasty. The veggies were not soggy and had a nice crunch to it. They were so harmoniously seasoned to perfection. Not salty, not oily and you can tell that it was flavored with natural herbs. The meatless chicken( seitan) was so flavorful and savory. The lentils was a great addition to everything else. I can say I was pleasantly surprised. This tasted like a home cooked meal made with love. This is what I call vegan soul food.
The smoothie was superb 👌made with almond milk, bananas, cashews & dates.
Now The total for both was about $30. I know… more than I expected to spend but honestly it was worth it. I wouldn’t splurge everyday but to be satisfied with a guaranteed good meal it’s well worth it and I would spend it again and again.
Don’t let the price deter you. Your taste buds will thank you. They also have another location in Broward Blvd and 441.

I stopped by early one morning during a layover. I was delighted by the decor and range of healthy options. The vegan "tuna" and sweet potato fries hit the spot. Likewise the sapote shake was delicious and filling. I ordered muffins to go - huge, moist, and not overly sweet. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Felt very tight-knit and down home. I hope that they continue offering tasty food and great service. Thanks!
Went here with my brother from New York and loved the food. I ordered quite a bit, I will definetly be back. The burger sliders were delicious and the supreme pizza is awesome. The best part of the meal was our server being so entertaining.
THE BEST… the aura inside this place just feels great… tried this place for the first time and it didn’t disappoint. The chickpea patty, the all American burger 🤯🤯🔥🔥🔥🔥. The gentleman in the restaurant that said to me it was “the best vegan restaurant” did not lie.. this food was so good. Glad I found this spot.
Had the short rib. Felt like I was having home made food. Service was quick and the owner was splendid to speak to. My friends had the chicken curry and loved it. I tried it and honestly preferred their plate more. I will be coming back here to try out more plates. Super healthy.
Love the simplicity and politeness. Very clean place and a menu full of incredible plates, burgers, tuna melt, Jamaican petty an so on all vegan or vegetarian. Many juice and smoothies options as well. It’s definitely worth a visit. Don’t be shy to try them out.
i have been vegetarian for about 7 months and i have always struggled with finding good foods that i can eat at restaurants. My parents and sister aren’t vegetarians but we all chose to go today for lunch. We all loved the food. My dads one of the biggest carnivores and he’s even a chef at a famous restaurant and he loved the food. The food has such unique and familiar flavors. The smoothies/juices are INCREDIBLE. Its such a cool and underground place too. The staff is so sweet and it feels like you’re with family. Will definitely go again.
