Good food in a convenient location if you work or live near the UM Medical campus or Jackson. The food is absolutely delicious, we had a steak salad and a BLT with avocado mayo - WOW! There's a large selection of food as you can see by the menu and display case photos I posted below. They also have a huge wine selection - though I don't see too many people indulging at lunch time. Anyway, this is the place to beat in the area - especially if you've got limited time for lunch.

After visiting at least 10 times and somehow never writing a review of this place, I'm happy to have enough experience and information to give them a 4-star review. The past few times that I've visited, I have ordered the N.Y. Strip steak with french fries, which is a simple, yet satisfying meal. The steaks have always been cooked to perfection and flavor-wise, on point. The fries are great and it is a good size portion for the money. The service is great and usually your food is served in a timely fashion. Definitely like coming here and hopefully it'll stay being this good.
The food is fantastic! I ordered grilled chicken with over medium eggs on top and a side of steamed vegetables. It was so good, I ate more than I should have and I still left a third of my meal on the plate. I highly recommend this place.

This please has the friendliest staff, awesome music, and great food. Over all the vibe is marvelous. Since I work next door, we end up here pretty often, and I would like to say that all the food is fantastic, but they have the best empanadas! I highly recommend this place!
It's a shame that this restaurant is so hard to find. The interior is very nice and relaxing, and the food is delicious. If you're at the hospital and are looking for some lunch that isn't too far away, try La Estancia out. They have full menus for snacks, lunch/dinner, and vegetarian options. Just go upstairs from the Dunkin Donuts area and you'll see it around to the left.
