Rick's Bar

The food isn't something I'd pick amongst the other choices in the area. The shrimp Alfredo has only 5 shrimp. They were tough chews too. The waitress was determined to keep me satisfied, so all her points remain intact. Just, the cook has a few more things to learn. They were out of pinot noir which isn't good for a substantial bar. But again, she was good to me and offered merlot with similar characteristics. Overall, it wasn't horrible. But being a bar and restaurant, they have some things to review.

The first day that we ate there it was OK. We had sandwiches at 3 pm and were the only ones in the restaurant. They were satisfactory. The next morning we had breakfast there and our experience was quite different. Our waiter barely spoke English. I got a wrap and it was bland, so I wanted some Pico to jazz it up a bit. First he brought me jalepanos and then he brought me tomatoes, then cucumbers until finally I said Pico de Gallo and I finally got it. But at first he said that they didn't have it until I told him that it was on the menu. I was surprised that he even had trouble understanding someone who was speaking to him in Spanish! We decided right then and there that we would not eat they again!
