So happy with the overall experience. The food was amazing, the service was nice, and they were also very accommodating! You must order the Jerk Plantains and pair it with the Thai Michelada! Thank me later!

Went to their Mrs Balloo location at the Wharf Ft Lauderdale. Had a vegan veggie bowl (no spicy mayo). Friendly service and delicous food!

Hits the trifecta. Food, service, and experience were all outstanding. You won’t see the restaurant when you walk into the Ingram building after hours, but you can easily follow the fantastic aromas there. This place is exactly what Miami needed. Less chains, more chef inspired cooking. Would 10/10 recommend. Make sure you ask for the special sauce

At the end of a corridor in downtown Miami you will find this little gem .. it has the feeling of being invited in a Traveller's kitchen with tons of spice in the pantry. Fasten your seat belt you here for a tasty food tour.. share your dishes and enjoy . Do I have a favorite ..hard to say everything was really good .. but I really enjoy the burnt cabbage and the Goat.... I will be back soon .

We enjoyed this little find and can see ourselves going back repeatedly for some comforting thoughtful food. It’s run by a Trinidadian Chinese chef and his Colombian Thai partner. Every bite was delicious and the restaurant has done a great job with picking their team too. Everyone is friendly and happy - willing to share a piece of what they do!

Chef balloo is a very talented chef and has been an idle in furthering my chef career. The food is made with love and is a different style to miami..... the atmosphere is that of peace and tranquility, with multiple aromas surrounding you

Some of the best food in Miami! Tucked away from the street, there are just a few tables in what feels like a warm brightly painted home. Lots of delicious dishes to share and a very friendly staff. Order the bacon fried rice.

Chef Balloo with his personal touch and dedication, preparing his magical flavorful dishes in front of you in his open kitchen, and in such a unique ambience ...make you feel your are not having dinner at a Restaurant but at your most memorable and enyoyable place and time right out of your grandma’s kitchen. Great concept and a real complement to our preferred restaurant in Miami: Sugar Cane of Chef Balloo!!! Noris , Leo and myself are thankful for your great culinary talent, hospitality and amazing personality! Un abrazo and we want you here in Miami forever!!!

his is the kind of place you need to eat at soon so you can tell everyone you knew about it before it becomes the hottest in town. Warm, attentive service and some of the most heartfelt, inspired food I've had in ages. Every dish felt like someone's treasured family recipe. Elevated and incomparable.

Amazing hidden gem in the heart of downtown. Ate there on Tuesday night and went back Thursday - its that good. It's hidden in the back of an older shopping mall, but there is a sign out front. The food is ridiculous, the staff is super friendly, and the owner/chef has made the whole experience memorable. Highly recommend!

Timon does an awesome job at his new restaurant Balloo. The flavors are off the chart and the atmosphere is inviting. The staff is friendly and it is on our must eat and hang list when we visit SoBe.

Great service and amazing food!! Chef balloo came out to greet us, then kindly comped us some food - just because we had eaten at his establishments before. Can’t say enough about this restaurant.

Flavor beyond comprehension. Place makes simplicities, like cabbage and avocado, taste like complex, savory masterpieces. If someone were to mark anything other than 5 stars, I would question that someone’s ability to experience life...
