This was my first time here and it was nice and quiet at lunch time. I've only tried a handful of fritas in my time in Miami but these were good. I think the only one that tops this is from El Rey de las Fritas. However, the lady working here was very nice and made for a good experience. She even offered everyone there some Cuban coffee on the house, which was a nice touch. Definitely awake and full going back to work now!
Very, very good. My friend told me that I had to try this place since I had never had a frita after living in Miami for the past 3.5 years. So, we went up there today and ordered some fritas which were absolutely amazing. The shredded potatoes were so fine and absolutely perfect. The bun that the frita come on was nice and soft. On top of it all, the beef chorizo patty was not very greasy, which made it a very good eat. There are only three things on the menu (fritas, pan con bistec, and frita croqueta), but the fritas were absolutely fantastic and I hope to go back soon to get some more. The prices were very reasonable as well, which is always a plus.

Does anyone know what happened? I have been waiting for weeks for them to reopen. I have been going there 20 years and they knew me by name. They would call me la chinita. Idk I’m not asian but it’s a weird nickname everyone(Spanish old people) always gives me. Hugo is the owner or was, and the last time I saw them, there was no sign of anything wrong. If anyone can write a review after mine with info I will keep checking. Please let me know. These people were like my family.
