The Place Miami

I had a horrible experience at The Place. We were a group of 6 girls planing on going out as a Ladies Night. One mentioned that Manolin was playing & wanted to check it out. I called the place & Spoke with Juan Carlos. I explained we were planing to go dancing somewhere but if the price was affordable us girls will go to The Place to see Manolin & bring our significant others. Juan Carlos told me that we could go & they will only charge $25 for the ladies & that guys will pay the regular $30 entrance price to see Manolin. One of the girls called & made a reservation but the person wrote $30. Five of our friends got there first & when asked to pay $25 for the girls based on the call they were told NO & they had to pay $30. When I got there my friend came outside to tell me they had to pay $30 & that the club didn't want to honor the $25 that was offered over the phone. I walked in with my sister & when approached the person at the entrance & tried to explain what was agreed he said that someone already came with that story & that if I wanted to go in it was $30. I told him it was not a story because I wasn't making anything up. The person on the phone told me $25 & thats what I was asking for. The guy started talking down to me in a very cynical & gross manner. He told me he didn't need people like me at his club, that only people who pay the full price get in. I told him I respect company's prices & I've been there for Braulio & Alvaro Torres & paid extra for VIP so that was not the issue. I said companies should honor their commitments & if they don't offer those discounts not to allow the person on the phone to offer them to people. He then told me he was the owner & mention that the location had a real state cost of i can't remember how many thousands of dollars & to come to him when I purchase The Place. He was extremely rude, totally unprofessional & a shameful person without any customer service skills whatsoever. I don't really think he is the owner because if he is he should use some of his money to afford some manners & get an education. I told my friends that I don't stay in any place were im disrespected & treated so wrongly & we left. There are so many wonderful places to visit on a Saturday night in Miami like to be dealing with people like him. Every time i visited before I went with a big group to celebrate birthdays & i got some of my friend going there. This time we were in total 11 people. We were even making plans to bring another big group next week. I don't mind paying the $30, $50 or $60 but if Im told something I expect the business to honor it. Based on that horrible service, we will never again go back to The Place & thanks God we have many options for concerts in Miami. I also don't recommend The Place at all to anyone. their VIP area is not worth the extra money, the place is small & has a huge AC system that hits many of the people right on & gets really cold. the shows always start after 11PM & ends faster than expected & most of the time when it ends that is it folks. go find somewhere else to finish your night.

Hello, My name is Stefan, I just would like to tell you my totally disapointing experience with your restaurant. As a tourist that enjoys my trips, you guys, totally ruined my evening in 4th of July weekend. We got these big drinks that were priced in the menu for $25 and we got charged $55 each. It's a real scam, there is NO price of $55 in the drinks menu. I hope you understand my disapointment, because I work as hard as you guys, but in really honest way!

First of all ill give one star because there is no half, the place should be called The scam, this people are as low class as they can be , they have no idea of what respect and cator to a customer means, they talk loud, they show no respect and even worse they steal your money by charging way more than what the menu shows, simple one the worst Place in the Miami area, Iam talking about the place on 833 sw 29 th ave, shame on you wannabies.

Nos quejamos y un camarero se estaba burlando de nosotros por lo que le tuvimos que llamar la atención.
