Don’t let the look fool you! Can’t lie I was skeptical at first… I looked at the bar and started out the door! But my sister convinced us otherwise… Thank goodness! We ordered goat and rice and oxtails, cabbage, black beans and rice. It was off the chain delicious!!!!!!!! I wish I would’ve took a picture prior… and the only thing for me to take a picture of afterwards was the styrofoam of the plate…lol! If you love Jamaican food you better not miss this place! As for the atmosphere it was what it is…

I came at lunch, paid abt $20 for an oxtail plate. Portion size was very good imo. Flavor-wise, I thought the quality of meat and size of the oxtails was good, but they needed more seasoning. The beans/rice, cabbage, and plantains were all pretty average/typical. This place would def hit the spot if u were hungover getting carry out. No real reason to dine in here tho.

The food was BUSSIN!!! I’m visiting Miami the night before the cruise and I was looking for some food to eat and stumbled upon the Jamaica Corner. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We ordered oxtails and jerk chicken and the food was top tier. We also enjoyed the island sodas. I would definitely return.

Hands down, this the best Jamaican food I have had in Miami. Everything is full of flavor!! The oxtails are perfect and not sweet. The curry goat have the right amount of spice and is seasoned PERFECTLY!!! The person at the counter is very friendly and welcoming 💕

The food is delicious and worth it for the price. I paid less than 6 dollars for the dish I ordered and it included chicken, rice, cabbage, banana and beans. There were very few beans, there was more rice in the dish and that's why I didn't like it so much. It's simple food, if you're not looking for sophistication and want cheap homemade food, this place is great for you.

I love this place! I eat here a few days a week or as often as possible. The staff is really nice and professional. Everything I’ve had is good, I’ve been eating Jamaican food for over 25 years and definitely recommend this place.

Great food, great prices! The lunch special for $5.99 jerk chicken and rice was the best deal you will ever find, especially in Miami. The chicken was delicious and juicy and the rice and plantains were a great side.

The food here is great.
I've had the brown stew chicken and the curry goat and they both were to what I expected: Delicious.
The owner seems to be a very humble man and treats you with much respect and unlike a lot of different Jamaican restaurants when you ask him to put ox tail gravy on your rice he doesn't get an attitude about it or try to upsell you gravy like Dutch Pot has been doing the past few years.
Will keep repeating

Proof that you can still get a hearty, tasty plate lunch for $5.99 in downtown Miami. Literally the best deal I’ve found in the whole city, and the food is solid. I especially enjoyed the jerk chicken, which was spicy enough to not even need hot sauce (rare for me since my heat tolerance is so high). It’s definitely a dive and located on a sketchy block of downtown but what do you expect at these prices?! If I worked downtown I would certainly be here once a week (or more).
