The Cafe At Books & Books

So glad we found this place while visiting Miami for the day. The staff is very friendly and we were able to stay for a while and work while waiting for our evening flight. The turkey panini and chocolate banana bread were very tasty. The vanilla cold brew was good too. There aren’t many outlets but there is plenty of seating. Will definitely come back the next time we’re in town.

Been a Palm Beach county resident for 27 yrs but 1st time Coral Gables tourist. Discovered this gem of a bookstore & loved, Loved, LOVED it!!! Went in gift hunting for a client of my husband's but ended up buying books for myself too. They had book reviews from patrons & staff alike & that sold me. Who could resist buying a book called "The Wall" reviewed by Gael which said something like "must be the most beautiful book I've read"? & the other bonuses---the cozy coffee shop, & best of all, super friendly staff!!! Special mention to Robert, who was so energetic, charming & engaging! He made my experience in the bookstore more memorable by being inclusive. & for the young lady (so sorry I could not recall your name 😱) who did her best to gift wrap my book & a baseball cap, thank you! These employees set you apart from the rest, & your luscious books (someday I will purchase an Assouline coffee table book) are a huge plus too!!! Can't wait to go back again!!!
