Caporal Chicken

I searched the best fried chicken in google, and the first place that showed up was Caporal Chicken. Right off the bat, the customer service was not good at all, the lady taking my order had an attitude and seemed confused on what I wanted I didn’t like when I arrived was the customer service. I ordered the beast chicken tenders and waffle. The chicken tenders were hard and some pieces were raw. The waffle was not fluffy as you’d expect, it was really heavy. Definitely I’m not coming back to this place, I rather go to a fast food fried chicken restaurant.

I came to Caporal Chicken based on all the reviews and all the Top 10 lists this place made it in, I was disappointed. I ordered the 8 piece box, and surprisingly all 8 pieces were raw. The lady taking my order was rude and had an attitude. The only reason I’m giving this place a 2 star is because the fries were actually really good, and the place was clean. Definitely not worth it, Popeye is a better fried chicken place.

Amazing chicken tenders!!! So I got to try the chicken tenders at Burger Beast's Luv Me Tenders event at Magic City Casino. I instantly fell in love with the chicken tenders. The corn nuggets were delicious at well. The owner's wife, who has a great personality by the way, told us that the chicken is marinated for 48 hours and let me tell you, it certainly tastes like it. It was offered with some sauce and the first time i got it, I got the sauce just to try it. However the second time, I asked them to hold the sauce because honestly, it doesn't need it. Trust me. The second time we went by they were also pairing it with fries which tasted as they had a little seasoning to it and it was delicious as well. This restaurant has already won best chicken tenders for 2015, 2016 and 2017. I wouldn't be surprised if they won again. Of the 12 venders that were there, only 2 of them stood out to me and Caporal Chicken was one of them. I will definitely try to check this out if for nothing more than the tenders. They were that delicious!!

I love this place. When my husband and I have an evening craving for fried chicken buffalo sandwich or chipotle sauce drizzled on huge shrimp, they never disappoint. Recently reopened with a new menu but was very happy with the changes. Staff is friendly and food is beautifully served. Highly recommend.
