Stumbled upon this Acai Bar this afternoon on our way to the FROST Museum. I immediately noticed their store front decals that mentioned "VEGAN BURGERS." I ordered the BLT and the Avocado Burger with Grandpa's Vegan Sauce which were AMAZING! A few juices as well that were delightful.

I love this place. Food is really good, fresh, well prepared. The service is even better. Great cool, low key vibe, background music that is enjoyable and still allows you to have a conversation. And did I mention that the service is wonderful!

So, I got a salad bowl, the sobe, and a smoothie. The bowl was aight. The greens were great, the dressing was interesting, but the salmon was not the best. They kept the grey matter on so it affected the flavor of the fish. I couldn't finish. Their smoothies are awesome tho. They know what they're doing there. Go get a smoothie.

Nice atmosphere and good healthy options. Needs to have better communication between the waitress and the cooker, though. I ordered a bowl and it was missing two ingredients. When I pointed this out she had no idea and had to go back and forth to find that they didn't had them at the moment.

HOSPITALITY: Mayerli was a fantastic waitress. She was friendly and attentive with our requests, energetic and playful with our almost 2 year old son and we thoroughly enjoyed her genuine positivity. FOOD: The Almalibre Nachos (vegan I’m pretty sure!) were INCREDIBLE (that cashew sauce is to die for) and the Pesto Gluten Free pasta was also delicious (we had to order two plates worth). The Açaí with paçoca was also tasty. Açaí with too much artificial sugar is typical but we make homemade and this was as close as I’ve ever had while eating it out. Good portions too, we were pleasantly surprised. SUGGESTION: I would suggest they definitely invest in changing tables for the bathroom in case more families dine there when on vacation, but the supervisor was very accommodating with our request to change our son in the restaurant, but better in the comforts of the bathroom. CONCLUSION: If you are into great food and drink, better hospitality and a free spirited, cool, clean ambience then this place is a MUST!

The owners put a great amount of thought and care into the taste and quality of the food, the look and feel of the restaurant and menu, and the kindness and attentiveness they give the customers. This little bar is quite amazing and worth many visits. I’m not vegetarian by any means, but I had a red rice and tempeh burger with garlic tofu sauce, greens and tomato, and vegetarian bacon on top—it had so much flavor and was satisfying! My vegetarian friend also had a burger and was amazed by the flavors, as well. The menu has many, many healthy options to choose from. Everyone can find something delicious here.
