Vagabond Sushi Bar

This place did everything right. From the building design, to the ambience, to the fact that we didn’t have to shout to hear each other, to the smell of Japanese food in the air, the heavy crystal looking tumblers the drinks came in, the shrimp fried rice with ginger topped with delicate folded omelette, hot red peppers and swirls of dark green scallion as if someone took a scissor to the ends of very fine green wrapping paper ribbon to spiral them in a festive fashion and the chill, relaxed and nice way the staff treated each other that speaks of excellent management, this place did everything right. The only reason it didn’t get 5 stars was the reek of smoke in the parking lot that we couldn’t park in because it was for hotel guests only. We decided we’d definitely go back. Oh and ask for Damon at the bar. What a sweety.

Perfect dinner- just what we wanted. Shared cauliflower appetizer , 2nd course perfectly cooked pasta Bolognese, 3rd course 1/2 roasted chicken over an assortment of vegetables ratatouille style. Although shared among we 2 the above would have easily served 3 hungry people ! We are headed home with 1/2 the 3rd course to go. It was family style portions- flavors on target. The host was welcoming- warm and attentive. Atmosphere buzzing at the bar- good time evidentially being had by all.

A great dinner, the restaurant atmosphere is incredible, kind of old and new dinner full of Art pieces. Unique. Friendly staff, the bartender Gio has provided us great moscow mule. We tried a bunch of dishes, everything was tasty and delicious : Shortribs pasta, tuna carpaccio, cauliflower steak, and an amazing Tart Tatin.

My boyfriend and I recently visited friends in Miami, and we went here for a Sunday brunch after a night out. The food here is delicious - we had a variety of apps and mains to choose from. Their pork belly hash and Chicken waffle were amazing. Overall, this has got to be one of my favourite places I have gone on vacation to to eat. Their drinks (moscow mule and bloody mary's) are also excellent.

This restaurant is one of my favorite in Miami. The food is great, French inspired but pretty well adapted to local tastes and the service is really good. They care about you and try to make whatever they can to make sure your dinner is an excellent experience. I really recommend this restaurant. Give it a try!

The Vagabond kitchen & bar is located in the Mimo District and within the hotel of the same name. This time we were there enjoying their happy hour (food and drinks), which stands out for the quality of their cocktails and the fried bacon served as a complement. Good food, impeccable decor and an excellent place to kiss your partner unbashfully, it also has a bar in the hotel pool that sometimes has a DJ. We recommend the following: Drinks, kisses, food and when finished, drinks in the pool, more kisses and whatever you want to imagine.
