The Bagel Express

Ive been a loyal customer to henry (previous owner) for years but let me tell you something… the new owners are just as great as henry! The new menu they created is amazing, from the empanadas and sandwiches to the best thing ever, which are the media lunas! Delicious and freshly made! Friendly staff, great customer service, Elijah always makes your breakfast with love! Great job bagel express!

George the owner is an amazing person. While eating I saw a poor man come into the shop and approach him at the counter. I did not overheat the conversation but I did note that no monetary transaction took place. He was told to sit and the owner delivered to him a cup of coffee and then a bag of bagels that were warmed not just out of the counter. I waited an opportunity to tell him how impressed I was but the shop became busy and I sat eating an incredible white fish covered bagel. Well a father and his kids entered and the boy yell out to george by his first name in a friendly manner. Latter a customer was receiving her order and additional choices of chips and other things were mentioned. She seemed reluctant, perhaps felt she had to pay for it. He said take them all they are free.when I readied to leave the counter was still filled but I called him over for what he probably thought was going to be some critique. But I just had to tell him what a wonderful person he was and I had experienced. And here it is for all to read. If you have not stopped by do it. Such a businessman deserves it. Jose Companioni

I was looking for a breakfast spot and found this place on Yelp read the reviews and pricing and thought I’d try it out. Let me tell you the reviews were right. This little hole in the wall was fantastic. I had the vegetable omelet with a raising bagel, cream cheese and coffee. And it was great. The food was very fresh and prepared perfectly. The staff is attentive and the ambience was won’t that everyone new everyone. So the atmosphere was a family just sitting down for breakfast. I just found my new bagel place in this area. Now I just have to plan on my next visit. Thank you for what you do and provide.

I’ve lived here my whole life, and I’ve never noticed this little shop, definitely a hole in the wall mom and pop vibe. I ordered an everything bagel and cream cheese with a cheese omelette and honestly it’s been some of the best breakfast I’ve had in such a long time. Very simple yet flavorful. The bagels are top-tier and there’s quite a selection of bagels to pick from. Very affordable as well compared to places now a days. Service was quick and to the point. Very delicious and will definitely be back.
