This is a hidden place here in Miami!! A family own business with an amazing variety of pastries and of course, GREAT CAFECITO! My first time in this place I assure you it won’t be the last!! My favorite; Croquetas de bacalao (cod fish croquettes) Buñuelos Franceses Pastelitos de queso ( cheese pastry)

I loved the cake I ordered, especially because it comes in a bundle with 3 plates of bread appetizers. They made the cake with the design I wanted, and the taste was fantastic. Dulce de leche in between and cake was spongy, not too sweet, and light in texture. I ate like 3 pieces and I could eat more without getting cloyed. I give it 4 stars, however, because I think they need to improve their customer service. Whenever I went to order the cake, the lady that assisted me was really serious and a little rude when I asked her questions. Then before going to pick it up, I called 3 times and I was left on hold each time, and nobody could give me a response if my order was ready.

I purchased this cake for my cousins gender reveal party. First and foremost I would not have this kind of party because gender identity is a personal journey. But I love my family and support them fully. Moulin Rose left me UNIMPRESSED the cake went in an air conditioned vehicle to the party gazebo and was MELTING ! It arrived smudged at the bottom tilted at an angle and was very much lacking of any filling. I could understand if you asked for fruit filling but all I wanted was blue colored butter cream. They gave a thin slice of filling that seemed amateurish. For $136 dollars I would go somewhere else. Go grab a pastelito or cafecito but for a cake your better off finding someone on Instagram if this is your option. It sucks I have to write this because I love supporting local businesses but I kind of feel that they took my order as a joke and jimmy rigged something last minute. It’s always better when they treat you like they would their family this is not the place for that.

An exceptional bakery on Sunset and 98th in West Miami-Dade. A great selection of pastries, cakes, pastelitos, and sandwiches. Fresh squeezed orange juice, and Cuban coffee on site. Great food and reasonable prices. They also cook breakfast and have limited indoor and outdoor seating. Very clean, well decorated, and always busy. Worth a stop if you’re in the neighborhood.
