Awesome beer list, like a lot of good IPA's on tap and thats kind of important to me. But honestly you don't come here for the beer you come for the food it is absolutely delicious, one of my favorite little restaurant spots in Miami. Their ham croquettes and pork belly is amazing, like addicting amazing and it is probably in my top 5 restaurants for croquettes in the city. For my main course I had the burger and it was cooked to perfection, and quite frankly was a very filling meal despite the portion size being a bit smaller.

I really love this place; it's exceptional! The Grouper Brochettes are my personal favorites, followed closely by the Virginia Ham Croquettes and the Farmer's Salad. Everything on the menu is sustainably sourced and comes from farms or is wild-caught at sea. I could eat here every day, it's so fresh and delicious!

Brunch may be a pretty common meal in the Brickell neighborhood, but Golden Fig is certainly worth adding to the rotation. The farm-to-table, Florida-inspired eatery has added the essential weekend meal to its lineup offering it both Saturday and Sundays every week and we got to taste it first hand. Kicking off the meal are shareable Snacks, which features a mix of brunch and dinner items. Brunch only items include Spanish Tortilla with potato, caramelized onions and romesco and a Homestead Avocado Toast. But the restaurant’s popular Virginia Ham Croquettes made with pork from Edwards farm in Virginia; along with charcuterie Boards featuring an array of fine cheeses and meats including Housemade Lardo and Housemade Duck Prosciutto with fowl from Hudson Valley in New York also made the cut. Moving on to Starters we tried the light and creamy Yogurt Parfait with granola, local honey and fruit compote and the Huevos Rancheros – fried egg in salsa roja, sprinkled with housemade queso fresco and cilantro atop a Taquiza soaked tortilla. Larger Main dishes included items like the Country Ham Benedict with slow poached farm eggs, country ham and creamy hollandaise and the Simple Egg Sandwich – house-made sausage patty, cheddar cheese, and farm eggs on pan de mie. We’re not ones to miss dessert, and Golden Fig has plenty of options in that category as well like Pumpkin Bread with honey whipped butter; Carrot Cake with candied carrots, cream cheese frosting and walnuts; and Anson Mills Johnny Cakes with cinnamon apples and maple syrup. And make sure to wash back your entire meal with one (or six) of the restaurant’s $5 seasonal fruit and herb mimosas and a rotating beer or wine cocktail of the week. The weekend brunch is now available every Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Until you get a taste for yourself, take a look at the delicious pictures below.
