Recommended by my coworkers, I came here after work and tried their chicken and pulled pork with black beans and rice. Didn't disappoint. Everything was delicious. Wish I knew because I could have been eating here every day. Will definitely be back when back in town.

Best fast food ever. I loved it. Maybe it's because I am from TN but I was highly impressed. My bondsman treated me there for lunch and I definitely want more.

Update as per the owner’s response.
I first had pollo tropical in NJ many years ago and quiet honestly the food wasn’t good.
This time around the food was well cooked and full of flavor! For $18 I was able to feed myself and my gf, happily.

My family and I bought a whole chicken when it was almost closing time, since we were close by, and had not eating. Maria Karla and the manager on shift were very polite, and helpful. Great customer service!

Great atmosphere fast service very professional staff.The food was great and well cooked.Nice place to sit down and enjoy your meal in peace. Definitely recommend for families or for dining alone.

Haven't had Pollo Tropical in a while.. To my surprise, the food was pretty good. Had the Meat trio. Comes with an Argentine Sausage, Churrasco and Chicken. Everything was delicious. The Churrasco was very good and really tender.. Definitely will go back for lunch. It wasn't full like usually Pollo Tropicals are. We went around 12pm for lunch.

This is the oldest and therefore first Pollo Tropical restaurant hence it doesn't have a drive thru. Also the founders of the company were two Jewish American brothers. Little known fact. They sold it to a New York company and now owned by Fiesta Group headquartered in Dallas.
The food is prepared fresh. Ordered their new Cuban sandwich and we give it 4.5 stars. Has some mayonnaise when it should be mustard. But still good. Quite filling.
Also ordered quarter chicken, black beans and white rice. Same delicious recipe.
And the Caribbean chicken soup. Authentic recipe. Very healthy.
It takes a while to wait for food. Remember this is more fast casual than pre packaged fast food.
Parking can be tricky at peak lunch time. Best to park further away in the shopping center and walk to entrance.
We were so hungry we forgot to take photo of actual food.
It's Miami comfort food.
