Great service and guava pastries were still warm even though we went in the afternoon! Staff was friendly even though they would be closing soon.

An institution! In my humble opinion, the pastelitos here are better than at some other "more famous" places. They are not as greasy. Highly recommend.

I recommend the Guayaba pastry! It was super delicious and cashier was really kind and walked me through the different pastries they have. So many to try and only 1.50 a pastry! A must try when visiting Miami for sure

Went here for a Tres Leche cake and it did not disappoint us at all! It was so good. The large cake feeds about 4-6 people depending on the serving size and it is a great price too!! Call ahead to order if you need to pick up on a specific day.

I'm on vacation and this was my first stop!
Alyssa was extremely helpful and took her time out to tell me prices and give me suggestions and even explain thoroughly what every pastry was!
It was a very positive experience for me and I couldn't believe how affordable options were! And the quality of food was amazing!
Prices started under a dollar and some of their best stuff was only about $1 per piece.
Great for being able to try each thing offered for less than $20!
Everything there, including the staff are super sweet 😇

Best latin pastries in little Havana!!! Try pastelitos de carne, guayaba, queso..., empanadas, omg! croquetas de bacalao, everything there is delicious!!! Don't forget the cafecito or cortadito!! I can tell because I have tried several places and El Brazo Fuerte is second to none.

Has all the greatest hits a Cuban bakery should have, except for señoritas (personal fav). Service is friendly and fast. Everything is fresh and well priced. If they could add a steak sandwich to the menu I’m sure it would hit. This place is great, also conveniently opens very early compared to other bakeries in the area.

I've been walking to this Cuban bakery for decades. It's like stepping back in time to where you abuelo took you after school. My daughter loves it as do i but beyond the usual favorites this is one of the few places that you can still purchase un Pan de Gloria and the bocadito spread your abuelo use to make for special occasions. The employees haven't changed in decades and everyone is very sweet. Over the years they have added tequenos and pan de Bono as well as some American classics like chocolate mousse. They have every type of croqueta and empanadas as well as pastelitos. It's usually packed but line moves fast and it's everyone's go to place for Cuban bread.

This place is the TRUTH! They have all kinds of pastries, cakes, sandwiches, coffee and fresh squeezed OJ! I have no idea how much the juice was but I'm sad I did not buy the biggest size available. I'd pay double, it's that good! My guava con queso, pastel de queso, croquettas de jamon. The lady who took care of us was so sweet and insightful. I bought plenty of things and barely paid $30. The cuban bread was fresh and delicious! The time we arrived there was not a huge line inside but plenty of people picking up orders etc. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was the bread pudding. Perhaps whoever made it, didn't have that magic touch. Could be a fluke. The rice pudding and flan looked quite tasty. It's a Miami must. I'd never seen such a vast variety of EVERYTHING!!! I was eating with my eyes for sure. Thanks!

We were looking for some pastelitos and read this was a good place to try them.
Covid-19: this is probably the most uncomfortable I've been in a restaurant in the pandemic. Luckily, most people had masks on, but it was so crowded.
You have to take a number and wait for it to be called, so there's no line. We tried to wait outside and look at the board to see what number they were on, but they don't update it. It's really hard to hear what number they're calling.
As for the pastries, we got a guava pastelito and a guava and cheese pastelito. Both were quite delicious. The filling was my favorite part, but the pastry was light and flaky.
The pastries were good, but you wouldn't find me back at a place this crowded until the pandemic is over.
