A family neighborhood Thai restaurant that also offers some popular Japanese dishes. The service is warm and attentive. But they stay busy without much time to interact with customers. The food was excellent! While the prices were a little high, I think it was still worth it. Almost all the customers were non-Asian. Many of them seemed to be regulars. Nice atmosphere but nothing exciting.

Appetizer was good, chicken skewer. The duck curry was tasty and the food was in a large portion. The curry with pork was so-so. I picked the one not that spicy (forgot the name). Broccoli and chicken was basically okay. Nice environment though.

Balance experience between a good beer and excellent Thai food. Please ask of the chicken Bob. Must try it!

We were craving Thai food but we wanted the best and googled the one with the most reviews and took a risk. Upon entering you were greeted with a warm welcome and being vegetarian and having allergies Noi, helped us and was so patient taking our orders. The food was AMAZING everything, the BEST taste freshness and everything ordered was on point as we ordered. All I can say is wow, a must when visiting Miami again. Noi, you treated us as if we were in your home, we will never forget this warm and inviting experience. Thank you so much.

Passing through, had an amazing red curry lunch special that included soup and spring roll. Even better with a gorgeous jug of Thai iced coffee! Will make a point of coming back.

Aside from all the food being absolute delicious and amazing lunch menu prices, the fried ice cream was the best I’ve had in a very long time. Absolutely delicious.

Tani Thai is EXCEPTIONAL!!! The staff knows who you are after being there once or twice and treat you like you're one of their own. The food is phenomenal and makes you want to keep coming back for more, proving to the point because we've been coming here for 22yrs!!! A must for family or a romantic evening with a loved one

Have visited various times. I enjoy the food very much as well as the service. Get the Curry Puffs as an appetizer along with the Chicken Coco soup made with Lemongrass, mushrooms, chicken and coconut milk. Just delicious.

Got the Panang Curry (chicken) tonight! Sooooo good! I could (and did) eat that sauce with a spoon! My husband had sushi and enjoyed it very much. We will be back! Our server was excellent and kind! She heard about my allergy and knew what I should not order! Much appreciated!!

More stars. Tani's deserves more than 5 stars. My family and I have been coming here since they opened. We used to live two miles down the street and would order the same thing every Friday: 1 entire plate of cocky bob for each of the older kids, Pad thai for mom, a steamed fish for Dad, and little sister would order the chicken satay when they had that, back in the day. Us three kids would froth at the mouth for a chance to go Tani's and successfully convinced our parents so many times that the woman who always took care of us had our orders memorized by heart. As we got older, our family grew up and apart but Tani's always remained. Any celebration was had here. Graduation, birthdays, anniversaries. It is the glue. The owner always took care of us and was so kind and so gentle. Her face lights up every time she sees us walk in. and mine, too. When I go to pick up orders, I look for her to say hi. I order from here as much as I can, which is only once every other month. But when I go, I am always so grateful and so happy to see them again. A lot has changed but Tani's is a constant. Very Good Food and a must-have if you are in the neighborhood. My family and I no longer live in Pinecrest but WE WILL GO TO TANI'S when we can gather. I recommend having the shrimps in a blanket, the chicken Pad Thai, and the cocky bob. Shrimp in a blanket are so crunchy, tasty, and satisfying. The sauce is perfect pairing. Pad Thai from here is the standard I compare all of the other Pad Thais I eat. It is the best Pad Thai in Miami. But the cocky bob. Ive never had another chicken dish like it. It's sauce is so tasty and the way they cook their chicken is incredible! It's addicting, especially with their perfectly steamed rice. Once you have it, you will be ordering it every time you go for the next 25 years- I can vouch for that. ------ TLDR: Go here and ORDER THE COCKY BOB. This place is incredible and you can bet they'll be seeing me.

I have been coming to this restaurant for over 25 years once or twice per month. Excellent food and great service. The longtime staff know everyone and treat you like family I've never been to Thailand but I have had Thai in New York and this food very favorably compares. Not exactly inexpensive but the portions are huge so you always have leftovers. Maybe not "exactly Thai" but incredibly peanut sauce and really good food. We'll worth the trip.
