One word awesome . Order a 2 lb yellow tail for me and the wife a fried fish fanatic but very picky food eater , well this was only time we have gone out without her complaining about to much salt food not warm enough the Jasmin rice was fenomenal , organic black beans a plus great tostones and the cortadito with evaporated milk fantastic , but the fish was what we came here for was so crispy on the outside and the meat so tender on the inside she wind up eating the whole thing from head to tail bones include .?had read some negative reviews about this place but I didn't find anything to complain about , our waiter Rony was great very informative and pleasant to talk to , defenetily will make the 45 minute drive from broward to south miami for the fish ....
The service and the food are excellent! Great prices too! Go with time because there is always a healthy waiting line. I love this place!
I love this location. It’s our third time here and it never disappoints. Very good food, everything was well seasoned and delicious.
Our server Reindel was a treat, he was caring and very attentive. He even served us the paella and made sure to explain the menu in great detailed. Another great night ! We even got shots and they were delicious, get the melon flavored !
Took family here since we were in the area. Menu looks expensive ,but they also have a lunch menu with good options and it included a soup we had arroz Frito with shrimp, fried shrimp, grilled chicken, blackened fish fillet with mash Coach of those plates was $12. Unbelievable that they came with soup each. Taste was great so we will be back soon.
Overall a good experience. Prices just above the market average.
A place worth going to. Friendly atmosphere, good food, but get there early because people do not stop trickling in.
Really enjoyed our visit. We've been meaning to come here for a long time, and we finally made it. A list if the items we tried out...
Fish croquettes, garlic shrimp & chorizo, snapper minuta, fish soup, lobster bisque, and fried rice. The fish soup was good, but not great. A little under flavored. However, everything else was amazing. The fish croquettes were the best I've tried and the garlic shrimp was incredible. The staff is very friendly and they help each other out. We had a main waitress but it seemed like 4 different people came around and asked if everything was OK. Made us feel very welcomed. Highly recommended. Great Happy Hour options.
I went here for lunch and this was a good stop. I ordered the scallops with black beans and the sweet plantains I like. I ordered a crab cake appetizer which had 2 cakes and they were very good. I had a small lobster bisque. This scallops were blackened and tasted great. I do recommend
I just want to say thank you… thank you to Francis for such a great service.. the food was fantastic.. I ate the mahi mahi tacos and the kids had the fried fish chunks which of course I tried as well and were delicious.. thank you and well worth the trip. Recommend it to anyone with a fish craving.. 🥰🥰🥰
A bit disappointed I came for a Grouper soup, impressed by the fish showcase I asked for a fried whole snapper (> 2lb) $35. I’m fine with that till the food companions were not right. I wanted salad (that’s extra). I wanted Fried green plantains (that’s extra). I had to express my disappointment and canceled the whole fried snapper. Establishment very nice and beautiful. Restrooms clean, dining area impressive, and service great. My complaint is don’t want rice or vegetables or beans or mash, no accommodations. I know owners are well off because the place is packed. I understand that greens have been affected by inflation. It will be my lost tonight. By the way soup was OK. Must add server after the fact offered to speak to management, but as my desire for the whole fried Snapper went away I only expressed my appreciation.
Manager came to my table and I was able to express my concerns and for that they deserves an additional ⭐️. From a three to a four. When establishment show they care in my opinion they deserve an additional star.
Get the combo! It’s served all day every day and it has many different options to choose from. I got the garlic blackened shrimp with a side of maduros and black beans, and it came with a choice of soup and dessert. The main dish was very tasty, the garlic sauce was amazing and it tasted great combined. I ordered the tomato soup which wasn’t anything out of the ordinary but still good. I got the flan which was delicious. The portions were probably my favorite part about this place; I didn’t feel super bloated at the end but I still felt full and I tried a variety of different things.
The food was delicious. The fish is really fresh, since it is also a fish market. I didn't give it a 5 in atmosphere because it is small and the tables are close
