Taquerias El Mexicano

An excellent Mexican restaurant overall. Fast and kind service, even with the place being packed. Complimentary chips and salsas were great. Queso Fundido was good too, maybe touch too greasy, but the home-made tortilla was really impressive, and it comes with it. Gordita was good as well, but the inside was stingy. Tostada was probably the best thing here we had for our first time. The sauce on it is incredible. The only disappointment was the super burrito, it was just below average burrito, so I would avoid getting that. Frozen Mangonada was on point, and they even offered the 2nd for free. Very nice people and authentic atmosphere. We are definitely coming back to try tacos!

Loved everything about this place tonight! Ordered a chicken taco and their nachos (no meat). Everything tasted fresh and perfectly seasoned. We sat in their outdoor patio which is behind the restaurant. When we sat we were brought water, a bowl of tortillas along with a spicy green sauce and a mild red sauce. Quick and friendly service. Will come back to try other dishes.

Delicious, fresh food!! Not to mention the portion size is more than enough. Quick and great service. Will come again. I recommend to all. I ordered carne a la tampiqueña which is steak with rice, beans, guacamole and cheese enchilada. Let me tell you, it's yummy. The chips and salsa is nice and refreshing. :)

Great food! Open late on Sundays for dinner. I can tell it’s a great place where all the locals go. We were five starving girls who ordered food to go. After celebrating milestones and what we’ve accomplished in our life, we celebrated my 2nd stomping ground in Miami, South beach. ANYWAY!!... back to reason for this post, the waitress was super patient with us. And a few of us had ridiculous orders. Smh I had ‘Elotes’ for the first time. How did I miss this??!! Anyway, the foods is all good. Great retro style Mexican joint.

I love this restaurant, we finally found a great Mexican restaurant in our area. The food and drinks were amazing; very tasty and the amount they serve easily serve 2. The restaurant is nicely decorated. Customer service is great. Only thing is parking is only meters and if is a Sunday is not easy to park. But totally worthy.

Our dinner started with home made chips, salsa and guacamole. I did not care for the salsa, it tasted like sweet tomato sauce from a can, but, the other three liked it. Now...the guacamole was fresh and very tasty. I ordered the quesadilla and chicken flautas. They were both excellent. The chicken was cooked to perfection and very fresh. The quesadillas, the best I’ve ever had. My husband ordered the enchiladas, two cheese and one chicken. He said they were amazing. We both have our favorite Mexican Restaurant in Homestead, however; we have now found our new favorite. The restaurant is very clean, with good music. Our server MARIA was very friendly and quick. If you want to taste good authentic, simple Mexican food, give this place a try. You won’t be dissatisfied.
