Tap79 Gastropub & Craft Beer Bar

Was very pleased with our late night stop in at Tap79. It was walking distance from our AirBnB, had a good vibe and great beer and burgers! Almost got sweet potatoes but at the last minute a regular convinced me to try the tatter tots and it was a decision I’ll never regret. Bartender / owner was super friendly and full of great recommendations for other restaurants and things to do while in Miami.

Love this place! The burgers are some of the best in the area. I recommend the Le Royale Cuban burger; it is a unique burger that captures some of the flavors in Cuban food. There delicious deserts are not on the menu but please ask the waiter what deserts they have for the day. The tablas are very good and the perfect thing to share with a date or friends. If you are thinking about trying the tablas I suggest going on Thursdays when they are half off.

I had 2 chicken tacos from the happy hour menu. They were delicious. The Margarita is a wine base which I am not a fan of however I did have the watermelon juice. OMG......THE WATERMELON JUICE WAS SO GOOOOOD. Very refreshing it is like the had trees in the back that the watermelons grew on and the squeezed them just for my drink. Hands down the best drink I had my whole vacation. I loved it. -DEVIN

Revised review. I've heard of butt dials, but that was my first butt review. Google sends me notifications to review every single place I stop at, from the grocery store to the gas station, so I must have accidentally hit a button and given 3 stars. Now that I'm in it though. I may as well leave a real review. I ate here last week and thought it was a hip spot. The Tap79 burger and side salad with Gorgonzola I had were both delicious and I would definitely eat here again. I've also previously had the portobello burger and tater tots which were both on point!

This is a really nice little establishment. The main bar is smaller than you'd think, but it had a charming presence. The staff was very helpful and kind. Parking is limited, and it's a little challenging to merge into the parking space from the main road. There's nice beer selection, and they keep the draft beer super cold. When I next visit, I'll definitely have to try the food because the menu is interesting for small bites while having a couple drinks. There's no liquor sold here from my understanding, so keep that in mind if your friends aren't into the craft brew world. Lovely place.
