The staff opened the doors for us and greeted us warmly. Quickly sat us and we were very happy with our surroundings. The restaurant is very clean and tidy with great decor. The menu is extensive and all your favorites are there. We loved our food selections as well as our servers. Everyone was very kind and it was a great dining experience.
Exceptional service every time I come I’m always welcomed with a big smile, I drive an hour just to have their pink Lasagna and it’s worth it every time.

We recently visited Giovanni's Ristorante in Miami and was impressed with the quality of the food and the attentive service. The restaurant has a cozy and inviting atmosphere, and the menu offers a great selection of classic Italian dishes made with fresh ingredients.
Our appetizers were a real highlight, with the burrata and prosciutto being particularly memorable. The pasta dishes were also excellent, with the sauces being flavorful and the pasta cooked to perfection.
However, our experience was somewhat marred by the pricing of the specials. We decided to try the special, which turned out to be double the most expensive dish on the menu. Unfortunately, our waiter failed to mention this fact when he described the special to us, which left us feeling a little cheated.
Despite this issue, the rest of the service was good. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, and the overall experience was pleasant. In terms of desserts, the tiramisu was exceptional, and I would highly recommend it.
Overall, while we felt a little cheated by the waiter, the food was still fresh and delicious, and the service was good. If you're looking for classic Italian cuisine in a cozy atmosphere, Giovanni's Ristorante is definitely worth a visit.

EXCELLENT! This restaurant is the melting pot of Italian, Peruvian ,Argentinian and Cuban food. Very friendly, the service is incredible and the right ambiance to be in. Friday and Saturday night live music. I extremely recommend this restaurant. You'll not be disappointed.
Can the owner open a second location in Broward county? Celebrated a family birthday here and can not wait to celebrate my own here. The food is exquisite and the service is first class. Love getting dressed up and head here with my husband for date night. The appetizers start off with a bang! The French fries, yes I said fries, take 3 days to make and you must try. Their daily specials never disappoint. I had the lobster tail bites and ordered a second batch for table after trying one bite. I am literally excited to visit here again while writing this review. The octopus that we tried was perfection,. The servers are experts at treating you like family. Want to pair your dinner with a nice wine? Ask the owner yourself whose usually there, Giovanni. He is a genius of wines and has never opened a bottle for us that hasn't been better then the last.
What a great place to spend a nice evening. Our friends brought us here and we loved it. Fantastic food. Great service with a smile and live piano music while you dine . The piano player took requests . It's an amazing restaurant experience so close to our home.

We have been there several times and their food is delicious and very well prepared. Nonetheless, sometime during the month of September 2023, we went and I ordered a filet of fish (with the corresponding small 2 sides) for dinner. The dish was priced at around $27.00. I asked the server the kind of fish they were serving and to my surprise it was tilapia...to me, the worst fish in the market to eat. I was very surprised. I then asked them to substitute it for corvina (a higher quality of white fish) for $3.00 more. It was simply very good and I enjoyed it. The problem I had once it was served (and I was shocked) is that the fish portion was half a normal size filet, the kind you would serve a child. IT WAS ABOUT 3 OZ!!! I could not believe that I was paying $30.00 for a kid's meal! I new that I was going to stay hungry unless I would order a second entry. I nicely brought it to the attention of my server and he appeared to be disturbed by my observation. He looked at me like if I was being irrational for challenging the ridiculous kid's portion size and indicated it was basically supposed to be like that, and not any (reasonably) bigger. Needless to say, I was very upset by his response. Guys, please don't take me wrong. I am grateful to be able to pay for my food without any issues, but I like to get what I pay for...a satisfying and fulfilling meal, which this one was not! For a moment, I felt I was in a French restaurant in the middle of Brickell or Coral Gables, but I was not. I was in the neighborhood of Westchester, Miami, Fl, which is an average section of town.
This dish was worth $9.99 at the most and not $30.00. I was ripped off and very deceived! Maybe next time I will improve the rating. I hope the owner reads this!
I was introduced to this place by my best friend on my trip to Miami. He told me it was a hidden gem that’ll surprise me. Even with that, I was surprised by how much of a gem Giovanni’s truly was. The appetizer we ordered were empanadas with chicken and with beef, amazing. My wife ordered a steak that rivals those of 5 star steakhouses, it was the recommendation from my best friend. The tiramisu is of the highest quality as my wife and I have had difficulty finding high quality tiramisu where we live (Texas). The staff is very attentive and friendly. They even tended to our son who is now eating solids. I highly recommend Giovanni’s to any and everyone reading this review and hope it can change from being a hole in the wall to the main attraction of the plaza!
