Clives Cafe - Miami - Photo album

In search of jerk. Found it here. Had the pork and it was authentic, smoky, peppery and juicy. Cabbage was tasty and pseudo- nutritious and the rice and peas gave it a bit of island flair. The oxtail had a delicious gravy. They have a bar with no liquor. Service is prompt and courteous. Plenty of
Unfortunately I was on the go so I had to do a to-go order. But I was satisfied with the food! I had curry chicken w double order of cabbage and it was tasty. I took a peek into the restaurant side and it looked nice/inviting! Would love to come back and dine in to get the full experience.
Got hit with pimento smoke the moment I walked in, I knew this was the real deal. In NYC, the rule of thumb is if you have rude service at a Jamaican restaurant the food is going to be superb; surprisingly excellent service at this place & food to match.
The food was outstanding. I had the Oxtail, my friend had curry goat, and my sister had brown stew. The seasoning was on point.. I will definitely go back. The service was great. Our server Van very pleasant. The restaurant was clean great experience…
Great service, very welcoming and homely atmosphere, and possibly the best Jamaican food I’ve ever had! I had the curry goat and it was to die for, very flavorful! It was very spicy however, so be careful if you’re not accustomed to spicy food, they might have options available to lessen the spice c
We had the jerk chicken and the curry goat. Both were full of flavor and tenderly cooked. For sides, the steamed veggies were well seasoned and tasty and the macaroni salad was solid. Highly recommended grabbing a meal here.
Definitely one of the best chicken I had… I like Indian dum style chicken with spices, this one came close to anything I ate outside Indian, and it is really yummy! Not at all spicy though everyone mentioned it is spicy chicken. It was fresh and cooked well!
Felt like home. The vegetarian food was well prepared and the serving sizes were decent. The only critique I had was that my dishes were a little salty. The service was also really great. Our server was kind and helpful.
The large oxtails were well seasoned. So was the jerk chicken. The Mac and cheese didn’t have the cheese crust on top but had a good flavor. The cabbage was not over cooked; was seasoned and the coco bread was good. Really enjoyed the food and it was like an hour or 2 before closing so that’s even
Clives Cafe melt in your mouth food…..yummmmm, doesn’t do it justice!! Fall off the bone jerk chicken, refreshing homemade Rum Punch!!! Authentic, @ Home, fill your belly up
The food was fresh and delicious. I had the jerk pork. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The skin had the crispness from the grill and it was not burned. The plantains were sweet and the rice and peas were also good. My sister had a large curry chicken and she cleaned her plate. I could eat
Sorry for the already eaten food photos. Was hungry and didn't take the pics prior to stuffing my face......With that out of the way, this place is absolutely exquisite!!! This is one of those hole in the wall joints that make you really feel as if you're at home. My wife and I stopped in here on o
My mom and I swung by for lunch as we're in Miami for a bit. Vanie was our server and she was great! The dine in was empty when we got there so service was quick and prompt. Restaurant was clean. We order a large oxtail, rice & peas, steamed veggies, a mild beef patty, coco bread, and a ginger beer.
We had the shrimps and BBQ chicken with potato salad, mac'n'cheese and fries. It was delicious! Great service and good Jamaican beer, too.
I always stop here when I am in Miami. The jerk chicken is the BEST! Honestly I am not sure on other dishes as I do not delve too deep into Jamaican cuisine, but it looks and smells wonderful coming out in the dining room.
I explored Miami for the first time and stumbled upon a restaurant around 8 miles away. Trying it out was definitely worthwhile; it became my go-to spot throughout my stay. The service was excellent, the staff professional and friendly, and the food incredibly delicious, making it a memorable experi
Went to Clives twice when I visited from South Carolina food was sooooo good. Hands down. The atmosphere is great. Will return
