Zona Fresca

I went here with my friend I love to eat chips and salsa they have the best chips and salsa in Miami downtown you can get free beer and they use fresh ingredients my friend ordered the veggie burrito and it was huge packed with vegetables he says it’s the best he’s had since we’ve moved to Miami and he likes the atmosphere way better then smelly coyo taco

We ate here before a show at the arena. The perfect preconcert meal!! All of the restaurants in The touristy shopping area across the street are mediocre at best. Seriously don’t waste your money over there! The cold beers and fresh food here are SO good. I ordered a platter that included a stuffed poblano, and they sliced that pepper open, stuffed it with cheese, and charred it over an open flame right in front of us. Where are you going to get food this fresh for the price??

Simple, fresh, and flavorful. The portion was quite generous considering my friend and I got the student combo deal: two tacos, rice, and beans for $6. Can't beat that. We enjoyed their aguas frescas as well. The horchata was tasty and refreshing, as was the tamarind drink. I would certainly come back next time I'm in the area. Important to note is that the address may take you to a corner where you will not see the restaurant. I had to drive by a couple of times before finding it as the map shows it as more on NE 3rd street when it is actually right on Biscayne a bit farther down the block.
