I love this place!! You get such good sushi for such a fair price! You won’t find many places where you can get 4 rolls of sushi, a dessert and an App for $70. Aly was our server and she was the SWEETEST throughout our whole experience. Really gave sweet nana vibes! She was very attentive and gave great recommendations

My favorite sushi spot in Miami hands down. The fish is fresh the prices are fair and the serving sizes are perfect. I highly recommend their Nigiri by pieces the toro and uni are delicious, Tuna sandwich is delicious as well, and Beef yukke is one of my favorites. For dessert I recommend any variation of their creme brulee with my favorite being the green tea creme brulee.

My absolute favorite sushi place ever. My friends, family, and I always look forward to going to Shibui - the kind of restaurant I’m always in the mood for! Eats - gyoza and ALL of the sushi I’ve had is amazing. Some of my favorite rolls: JV, volcano, and spicy crunchy dragon. Drinks - plum wine and sake are a must. They have dining tables in the downstairs area and upstairs is the traditional sitting on the floor (I recommend comfy clothes and no skirts lol). Enjoy!!

A unique Japanese restaurant in the heart of Kendall in Miami, Florida. This restaurant offers chabudai seating (short leg table and you sit on floor cushion), sushi bar seating and regular dining table seating. Floor seating is what makes this restaurant unique! There are several pages of sushi options. There are Japanese dishes, appetizers and drinks to add to your order. There is the option to make reservations as it can get rather busy on weekends. Service is pretty good overall. Greeted very nicely upon arrival and servers have been nice and knowledgeable. Compared to having one large sushi like in most sushi restaurants, the sushi is less expensive but usually smaller rations which is a good thing if you like to try multiple sushi in one seating (pay attention to the number of sushi pieces labeled on the menu). One star was deducted for a personal reason. There is a slight odor where there is carpeting. It could benefit from a steam and extraction cleaning. I think the place can use a deep cleaning overall. It's not a dirty place but it does feel a bit aged with certain peculiar odors.

Shibui has traditinal tatami seating on the second floor which I highly recommend. However if you are not used to it or have hip/knee issues it can be uncomfortable but they do offer regular tables on the first floor. It can get very busy for dinner so it helps to have reservations before hand.The food was good with a large selection. I recommend the eggplant appetizer, it was surprisingly delicious. The sushi was fresh, although the sushi rice had a bit more vinegar than some are used to. I recommend Shibui for special occasions as it is a fun experience!
