Spaghettino

The service was great. We asked our server for recommendations and he was very helpful. We didn't have to wait long for our food, it was served in short order. At first sight, I thought the portions were a bit smaller than I expected but I struggled to finish the meal. The large plates make you think the portions are small. The food tasted really great. Authentic Italian food. I didn't give five stars because my chicken parmigiana was a little dry but I still enjoyed it thoroughly.

I have eaten at Spaghettino for years and loved every experience. Their food is delicious, it is nice to sit on the patio and feel the breeze (there isn't a water view, but it is close enough to the bay that you get the breeze), the staff is friendly and the prices are not astronomical. Their lentil soup made me call my mother and tell her that someone one-upped her. She was really mad, but I spoke the truth. On Tuesday nights there is a special that not many people know about. They have a special menu of pastas for $10. I hesitate to share this, as I don't want to ruin our peaceful Tuesday night dinners with the other moms in the neighborhood, but again... I speak the truth. If you order take-out, they deliver REALLY quickly on a cute bicycle that they keep parked out front. This place is an all-around winner. Go here.

Food was really good but staff a little pushy in the way he wanted you to be buy more and rush you out. Maybe he just wanted to go home. Even had to ask for more water and it was not a busy time (one hour before they close) and only four table was occupied outside and barely any inside. A couple of guest was still coming while we were eating. Only getting four stars because the food was really great. If it was rating the staff only it would have been one star for that particular waiter.

I came here on a late night date and it was a very pleasant experience. We walked in and the waiters we're friendly and unobtrusive. The ambiance was relaxing and we were able to have a good conversation without overly loud music in the background. The dishes were reasonably priced for the massive amount of food that you got. I ordered the Papparadelle 3 Gusti and my date had the Spaghetti Bolognese with an appetizer of Calamari. My pasta was creamy and very filling. The pasta itself was perfectly aldente. If I had to nitpick on one thing, it would be that the Calamari didn't have enough seasoning and tasted a bit bland. I ended the night with a delicious cappuccino that had a good amount of foam, just how I like it! Location is easy to find. And outdoor seating is always filled whenever I walk by. I definitely would recommend this place! :)
