This is a true experience for all your senses! Come visit this gem! Come for the romantic ambiance, be mesmerized by the chefs who perform a culinary ballet and taste the most scrumptious food your palate will delight in! The bar tenders, not to be forgotten create exquisite cocktails. We came to celebrate our anniversary and immediately made a reservation for the next night! The service is amazing! The staff makes you feel welcome and treats you like family and the food was as delightful as the first time we were here. This Texas girl will forever dream of this place and their lobster Mac and cheese. Do yourself a favor and make a reservation immediately! You will leave satisfied and delighted!

Wow what a great restaurant. I was a little leery of going there. But I am so happy I did. This restaurant has the best mussels I've ever tasted. We had half a chicken ,mussels, Lobster croquettes, lamb chops and meatballs. Place is very reasonable price. For the quality of food they give you. The staff was over the top. I don't remember our waiters name. He had a very interesting looking beard. I recommend this place to anybody. Definitely worth your time and money. I will definitely be going back.

Great place for drinks and dinner. The food was exceptionally good! Truffle lobster mac and cheese is a must have. The portions are quite large so order accordingly. The only reason it loses a star is because our server was not very attentive, and if you are a party of two you will get seated at a bar style setting even with a reservation, although the chairs are nice and comfy. If you are there before 8:30pm and plan to leave before that time then you will get a table.

Great looking restaurant! Food was delicious! Everything is cooked to order so food may not come out all at once. Didn't find it to be a "speakeasy" like others that I've been to but was still a fun experience. I'll definitely go back.

This place has the best food, great live music, best staff, go with friends or your love ones. Best to call ahead though. It’s that great! This place is worth it. They have parking right next to them. You need to look for it. The sign is small so go slow when coming up. It is on the right side of the BLDG. The drinks are sweet and you need to be careful not to drink too much they are that good, but so worth them. :) The food is the best, the steak was the best I have ever had in town. They bring the food out as it is ready, so when your are in groups the food not come at the same time, this is a good thing it shows they do not hold your food. Once it is ready it is out on the table ready to eat hot and fresh for your enjoyment. The way it should be! It’s worth every penny you pay.

So happy to have been able to celebrate my birthday, pandemic style in this wonderful restaurant. We came on a Thursday, no crowd at all. They observed restaurant social distancing with the tables. The food was awesome. I ordered the skirt steak and I liked it. My friend ordered the lamb. I don't like eating lamb but I ate her lamb cuz it was good. We also ordered the fish ceviche, chorizo croquettes. They had happy hour prices on all their drinks up to 7pm so that was a bonus. Their drinks were strong but great. I would definitely come back.

Not much of a Speakeasy kind of place, but it has a lot going for it. Close to the midtown area, it’s easy to cross the street and arrive. Decoration is on point, the vibe is great. Drinks are really good, with a vast menu and many different options. Only wish they had more international craft beers. The music was a little too loud and too “reggaeton” for my taste. I expected more of a mix when it came to the music. The space is really good and service was quick and friendly. Not bad if you want to have a few drinks with your friends and dance a bit. Check it out.

The food is very good. Our group ordered half the menu and we all shared. Each dish was better than the other. The drinks were also very good. Great music and mood.

Beautifully decorated, and REALLY delicious food ...add in friendly, efficient servers and hosts, along with a talented saxophone player who walks around the tables to entertain, we had such a fun time celebrating two birthdays!! Sparkler fun too!!

I've been trying to go to this place for years & was finally able to get there. I went for my birthday & I was not disappointed. The food & atmosphere was great. The night we went(Thursday)it wasn't a lot of people. Very nice spot!

I make decisions all day, every day. So when we are on a #blondecousins get away, I leave all the social planning to my my gals! Tonight, Julie (my cuz) did not disappoint with her dinner reservations at this amazing Speakeasy in Miami. We walked in and were immediately serenaded by the saxophone player from the time we entered the door. The food was incredible. The atmosphere was fun. We highly recommend!!!

From beginning to end this place was top notch. We sat at the Gourmet Bar and marked my (then) girlfriend's birthday. We will never forget the great time and food.

This place sets a perfect tone for a nice gathering with friends or date. The food was delicious. Bought to you as soon as its ready so you order many dishes and the come one after the other but can be costly if you get carried away lol. The upstairs where they have a small lounge area with music and stand still dancing but nice. Overall the ambiance is nice.

This FOOD IS EVERYTHING!!! Me and my husband came here and we had no complaints what so ever ! I ordered the chicken forestiere ! The creamy sauce , the baby potatoes and carrots was well seasoned! I skinned the bones off the chicken literally! My husband ordered the garlic shrimp and pasta , i tried his and it was sooo good!!! I recommend this restaurant to anyone ! When we come back, this will be our go to restaurant ❤️

Classy retro atmosphere. It was nice to see the open kitchen and watch the great staff. The food was very good. Had the pan seared salmon over the warm potato and crab salad. It's excellent. It's a nice restaurant for a date, a special nite out, or for a big group to hang out.

This is my first review on here and how sad it has to be with one star. If there was an option to put none I will. I read awesome reviews about this place and decided to reserve for Valentine's Day. They had a fix menu for $150 per couple which I thought was not bad at all and the options of food I liked. We had to give a deposit and supposably the restaurant was completely booked. We got there and they sat us right away. That was a plus. We waited about 10 minutes to be attended. Once we were we ordered our drinks and all at once we ordered everything including dessert. Our reservation was for 8pm and we arrived 10 minutes before. Once we ordered our appetizer got to the table within 5 minutes, that was a plus. Yet our drinks arrived 20 minutes after when the appetizer was long gone. The service was ridiculously HORRIBLE. The place was supposably fully booked to the point that we noticed they were turning people off that would get there and wanted to sit but more the 60% of the restaurant was empty which that's why I cant find a reason for such horrible service. I was never asked if I wanted another drink nor a refill of water. After we finished our small plates the dirty plates were sitting on our table for 30 minutes till I saw the manager and asked him how long does it take to pick up dirty plates. Kindly he picked them up himself. Mind you the place was EMPTY! Empty to the point that the managers were arguing and the waiters complaining. When our dinner arrived, my husband and I ordered the ny steak medium well. Well I have never had a steak so dry in my life. I couldn't swallow it. The steaks were cut in slices which to me was a waste of meat. That's why they were so dry. They were not even thick so I didn't understand the point. The steak was served with truffle French fries which were cold. Once again another 30 minutes to pick up dirty plates. Finally we had ordered the dessert when we got there before 8 it was probably 9:30 when it was our time for dessert. I was at least looking forward to the créame brûlée till the waiter came and said they were sold out!!!! Mind you once again there was no one in the restaurant. How could you sell out of a prefixed dessert menu and there was not even customers to actually eat them. Overall I had a horrible experience. The food was ok. The service was HORRIBLE. Oh and the attire, we dressed nice according to what they say and the occasion yet people came in flip flops, shorts, and tore up shirts. Maybe I was expecting too much from reading other reviews. Well I almost forgot. Thankfully they have valet cause there is no parking. We parked valet and literarily the parking spot is 2 feet away from you. When we went to pay the valet it was $20!!!!!! I am not cheap at all but $20 to park your car inside that parking lot that they have that you could walk right to your car park it and get it yourself. Wow what a rip off. Hopefully no one has the bad experience I had.

Six of our family visited Prohibition Friday , July 21 to celebrate our son's birthday and we had a really good experience! We got there almost at the end of their happy hour and enjoyed half off cocktails and wine! Loved tbe decor, our waiter Nicholas was very nice and attentive.Their chorizo and lobster croquettes are to die for! Meatballs too, OMG try them!. My son ordered the lobster Mac and cheese, and it was really good. There was a saxophonist playing live and he took requests! It was really cool! Amin, the manager was super nice to us and invited us over to the Speakeasy upstairs for a bottle of Champagne. There was some construction going in front of the building, yet it didn't create any noise, parking or access problem to the restaurant.Parking on the street meters was inexpensive and easy to find. We honestly felt like we were important guests at Prohibition, something hard to feel nowadays in some restaurants in Miami! I would recommend this place 100%! I also recommend you do get a reservation several days before, this place gets really full early!

Excellent dining experience. The grilled romaine caesar salad is filling and one of my favorite things. The lobster mac and cheese and Brussel sprouts are great dishes to share. The delicious Lobster ravioli has great flavor, and the portion is perfect. The scallop entree is plated beautifully and seasoned perfectly. Excellent service and a lively atmosphere make this a great place for dinner in Midtown.

I am from New England and it's too bad they don't have restaurants like this back home. The theme got us there, the service was very good, but the food was some of the best I ever had - no exaggeration! It had an open kitchen with one chef and one helper that cooked everything. The place was busy and we didn't wait between courses. I don't know how they did it, but they did. I was so impressed I had to tell the chef myself. Try it if you are looking for a unique menu with some of the best food you will ever have.

Rice sucked, steak overcooked and dry as hell, drinks for $14 are weak, I think they are using cheaper alcohol and putting them into Name Brand bottles. I will recommend everyone to go to Burger King.. Get a salad. Plus, its a Looooooser atmosphere , wannabe everything.

Awesome Awesome Awesome ! Threw one party there and assisted a friend with another ! Both were memorable experiences! The food is awesome ! Vibe great and drinks even better ! Whether you want to relax and listen to the live saxophonist downstairs or you want to turn up in the lounge upstairs this place won't disappoint ! Furthermore Amin (event coordinator? ) made the experience that much better !! He's super attentive and always made sure we were happy ! Will obviously go back and reccomend this place to others !

Can't say enough about this place. The food, service, ambience and music was amazing. The music was played by Eddie; a very talented saxophonist who walked through the restaurant playing and just added to the feel and vibe of the place.

What an amazing experience! The drinks crafted by Danny, the bartender upstairs in the lounge area, were superb! The manager, who's name escapes me bit I will never forget since he resembles The Rock, was very sweet to my parter and I. Our waitress Dana was equally as enchanting as the atmosphere. Smaller venue in comparison to any larger restaurant however its atmosphere can not be duplicated. Excellent first impression!

The Wynwood district of Miami offers a lot of restaurants that have some really good food. I’ve talked in a previous post of Sugarcane but another venue I discovered on my trip was Prohibition. This restaurant and speakeasy is hard to miss on N Miami Ave. with the marquis up front and it’s large mural up top. From the outside the place looks really cool but it has nothing to do with the decor inside that is quite modern with a touch of retro.
