The best Chinese Dim Sum in Miami. But a Chinese restaurant, almost by definition, cannot get 5 stars as service is always mediocre and there is no atmosphere, unless you like mediocre service and hanging out in Chinese restaurants.

I have not eaten a Kon Chau for over 10 years... And I must say that the food is as good as it was then maybe even better. I had my Thanksgiving dinner there with my best friend and we had dim Sum so as in vegetarian I do not eat meat. Excellent choices for me included the stuffed eggplant lots of shrimp dumplings fried taro the menu is large. It was an excellent choice for us to go to have an incredible dining experience. Thx

This is hands down the best chinese restaurant that I’ve ever tried in Miami. Their dim zum is SO fresh and tasty. We had the green tea duck, the shrimp chive/leek, the steam roast pork, the fried sesame seed balls, the soup dumpling, and the 1/2 duck… just, waoh! And the service was excellent. This place is casual, but every bite is worth it!!!

Always a delicious time here. I love dim sum, so this is hands-down the best in the Kendall/Coral Gables area. Not very expensive either, plus there's an Asian grocery mart nearby for genuine ingredients, candies, drinks, and more so it's very nice visit. My favorite two dishes that I always get are Sticky Rice Wrapped In Lotus Leaves and Eggplant With Shrimp. During this visit we also had the sweet and crispy Peking Fish (make sure to ask without spicy if you can't handle spice), Sui Mai (steamed pork and shrimp dumplings), and the Soy Sauce Pan Fried Noodles with all meats (this is a very savory dish with nice crispy noodles)

Rustic Chinese restaurant. The look and feel is similar to restaurants in Las Vegas China Town.
The price was just right. They give you hot tea and water to start. The appetizers…..what a list. We ordered dumplings, crab Rangoon and several other entrees.

It’s been a while since my last time at Kon Chau. The place doesn't look like much from the outside or the inside. It looks very old and outdated but clean.
We were promptly and warmly greeted and seated.
We ordered the same few items from their very large menu of dim sum. The steamed shrimp dumpling, the green tea duck dumpling, the vegetarian spring rolls, the shrimp/pork dumpling, the parsley shrimp dumpling, the chive shrimp cake, the Shanghai soup dumpling, scallop w/shrimp dumpling, and the steamed spinach & shrimp dumpling
The food was delicious!! The dumplings were fresh, warm, and super yummy!!! The spring rolls were hot, crispy, and super tasty.
Overall it was amazing, like always! And the service is top-notch! Love this place!
