Review The Knife - Miami

G
I had an exceptional dining experience at this restaurant! The staff were not only friendly but also incredibly accommodating, which added to the overall positive experience. The spacious interior was quite impressive, and even with a private party and several full tables, there was still plenty of room to enjoy our meal comfortably. The cleanliness of the restaurant also stood out, as well as the amazing water views. Which contributed to a pleasant dining atmosphere. This was my first time trying an Argentinean restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed. The extensive salad bar offered a wide range of options, but the true stars of the show were the meats. The selection was vast and diverse, truly fit for a king. Every dish I tried was simply amazing. Everything was cooked to perfection. Although one of the meats was a tad chewy, it was a minor hiccup in an otherwise outstanding meal. I must admit, I indulged a bit too much, but as they say, you only live once! I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a delightful dining experience. In fact, I've already sung its praises to several friends and can't wait to return for another memorable meal.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Knife restaurant and I must say, it was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had. Not only was the food absolutely delicious, but the exceptional service provided by the restaurant's manager, Veronica, truly stood out. Her professionalism and kindness were unmatched, and she went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. From her warm greeting to her attentive nature throughout the meal, Veronica's presence truly elevated the overall atmosphere of the restaurant. I highly recommend The Knife and its exceptional manager, Veronica, to anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience.

Our family dining experience at The Knife Parrillada was truly wonderful. This restaurant proved to be the perfect choice for a cozy family meal where everyone could enjoy not only the delicious food but also each other's company. The moment we walked in, we were greeted by the inviting aroma of grilling meat, setting the tone for an authentic parrillada experience. The variety of meat offered was impressive - from succulent steaks to flavorful chorizo, each selection cooked to perfection. The quality of the food is certainly worth noting, and the salad bar, with its array of fresh options, complemented the meat dishes beautifully. The staff at The Knife Parrillada were hospitable and attentive, ensuring our needs were promptly addressed. They contributed significantly to the warm and friendly atmosphere of the place. Beyond the excellent food and service, the restaurant provided a relaxed environment, which made it easy for us to unwind and truly enjoy our time together as a family. The rustic, yet comfortable décor added to the overall charm and authenticity of the place. In conclusion, The Knife Parrillada offers an exceptional meal experience. Despite being a carnivore's paradise, it caters to a range of dietary preferences, making it an excellent option for diverse family gatherings. It's not just a place to eat, it's a place to enjoy quality time with loved ones. Highly recommended!

$38 for lunch $50 for dinner. All Buffet. Dinner included a bottle of wine. Not bad for Miami. Food is insanely filling. All meat and heavy, heavy salads. (Waldorf, potato, anything with mayo and/or cheese) The fish was better than expected. Meat was fine. The flank steak was tough. Nothing amazing but not bad. Tried the blood sausage and liked it, the "sweet bread" (cow thymus) was a first for me. Interesting. Again, food was all totally fine. Good, but nothing knocked my socks off. Not too crowded on a Monday.

Giving the 5 for the people on the grill, they work their "assets" off being exposed to the heat of the charcoal all day and they can definitely grill the best in Miami, so dont hesitate to go there if you want real argentinian asado, the 1 star on atmosphere is because their bathrooms, understood some people is nasty but they need to keep up with the maintenance, my honest opinion....

It is one of my favorite places in Miami, aw boy, my favor, dish, wait, toung, al escabeche, umbelibabke flavor with a Russian patatoe salad , pick your own meat, this time i found that the best meat is were you don't see it, notice all new gust at the grill, younger men, but i eat what i wanted, it was a 10, they have few of this restaurants in florida, drinks included with cover, so is coffee and desert. A 10

Good service and food is good too. Being coming here for over 5 yrs now. I loved the salad bar and side dishes. All inclusive meal for great price. If you go on website you will see that your meal includes additional items besides the bars and they won't tell you that 😉 empanadas, fries, rice and beans, and even steak... thank me later 😊 I forgot to take pics of food 🥴

Best buffet style restaurant i’ve been to in Downtown Miami! Amazing water views and beautiful ambience. The food options are very flavorful and vast for you to choose from! The dessert menu is great as well! Service is amazing as well! I will definitely be back soon!

One of the best places to invite friends and have lunch tasty and inexpensive and with a beautiful view from the window. The meat is very soft and different and a bottle of Spanish wine and a lot of herbs and salads in the buffet. Very friendly, polite staff. We live far away, but every time , when we visit Bayside, we enjoy lunch at The knife! Thank you for your business !

We decided to give the Knife a try one evening, and oh my gosh, this place has SO many options! Mostly meats, but also salads, sides, and each meal comes with a choice of dessert. This is definitely a place you'll want to be super hungry for! Everything was very good, and the servers and cooks made our meal a fun experience.

All you can eat Argentinian steakhouse. Rather then the waiters coming to your table with cuts of meat, you order in a main kitchen/bbq area. The meat is good and the sides are also delicious. They do a great job for all you can eat.

Absolutely fabulous experience for downtown Miami Bayside. Full bottle of wine included per person. Vegan options to choose from on buffet. Our view was the ferris wheel.

Bad Service and food. The tilapia is nasty!!! Tasted very undercooked almost raw . The sprite tasted like medicine . They did not offer any kind of steak sauce for the meat . Waited forever for the bill had to get up to find the waiter . Awful experience . Not worth the money .

Name of the red wine. My sister and my sister-inlaw enjoyed our lunch dining last Jan. 9th . We are not wine drinker but the bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon you served we like it very much, unfortunately we forgot to ask for the name. One thing for sure it said that its a Spanish wine and the label is buff in background , i would surely appreciate if you can tell me the name. We will be back there this October with more people to patronize your restaurant

Worst experience ever!!!. Had horrible experience at the knife bayside market location. tried to call corporate who advised me to email them and i've been waiting more then a month to hear back from anyone. It was on Monday around 12p.m. my friends and I decided to go the knife restaurant bayside market location. So before going to the bayside location I go to the website first which stated lunch special from Monday - Friday for $16.95 until 4p.m due to me never having lunch and always having dinner I wanted to check the price. Also seeing the prices on the entrance as I walked into the restaurant that stating the same thing. During our lunch there were a few people in my party made a special request order for the tilapia and salmon which took a very long time to make. We had to get up almost every 5 to 10 minutes to check and was kept told a few more minutes longer and to come back. Finally when we went back up we noticed that all of the tilapia and salmon was gone and the cook that we put the order through stated "someone else gave it away and it wasn't his fault." So we had to put in another order again and wait in the mean while my friend couldn't eat because she only likes fish. Also while waiting in the long line for the grilled food due to the plates being stacked up to high someone must have bumped the table by accident and about 5 to 10 plates came crashing down hitting myself and my friend in the leg and foot. Luckily I had on good shoes and the majority of the plates hit me in the shoe but at the angle she was standing she wasn't so lucky, but the most that happen was she received a few marks from the plates on her foot. When the waitresses came to clean up the mess not once did anyone apologize or ask if anyone was okay, but because she wasn't bleeding and it was an accident she didn't feel the need to say something to anyone. The steak was very chewing and some pieces tasted extra salty so the food wasn't great either. So after all this happened we receive our bill which was $20.95 per person and felt this wasn't fair and the waitress who was nice the whole time stated it was because there was Miami Heat game today which everyone knows game 7 of the finals was last Thursday 06/20/2013. I know there was a parade but that didn't seem like a logical reason to raise the price which they finally put up flyers after we were already in the restaurant so we decided to call the manager to see if he could accommodate us. When the manager got there he was very short and rude saying he doesn't have any time to deal with this. His exact words were he has a business to run and walked away. At this point this completely ruined our experience and even though the 15% gratuity was added on to the check we knew it wasn't the waitress fault so we tipped her 20%, but we didn't find it was fair at all with all the mishaps the manager was very rude and was in a rush. One of my friends mentioned it was because we weren't Spanish and that's why he treated us that way. So afterwards when we asked for corporates number he just give us a card with the knife general number which just routes you to the different locations which was very foul because it seemed like he was in the wrong and didn't want to help out the situation at all. I feel as a manager Daniel should have way more people and business management skills and have at least tried to offer or done something for the inconvenience, but no such luck. so the following day I called the # that was given and it was their # to the different location. I had to do a search online and finally called the corporate number which I didn't get any answer on first couple of tries. Finally a few days went by and I tried again and spoke to sometime who answered the call like it was their personal cell phone saying "hello" yes". I then informed the person I wanted to make a corporate complaint and he said through email only. so I emailed info@thekniferestaurant.com which I was told by this person was the email that gets sent to the owner and the president of the company. so now more then a month later I still haven't heard back from anyone. Now i've been to other knife locations and they are nothing like this bayside location. Stay away if you know what’s good. Hopefully if you ever had a horrible experience they did something for you, but for me i'm still waiting for a response.

VERY BAD restaurant. It's ages distant from the original good meat all-you-can eat place. They don't cook the food there except for the meat and, in my last visit, more than 50% of the salad bar items were past their fresheness and sour. The server explainwd that lately they are seasoning with lots more vinegar every food! Almost every meat cut was gummy and tasteless. Avoid food poisoning at a very expensive price. Although awesome bay view from the top floor.

ONE OF THE TOP WORST RESTAURANTS IN MIAMI. Ok, so if you want Argentinian food, do not come here. Horrible salad buffet, terrible chicken, very undercooked Tilapia fish, and tough meat. But you really can't expect much from any restaurant in the Bayside Market Place. Go almost anywhere else. I really mean it. Top worst places I've ever eaten at. And to top it off, RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED!!!

Good food, Good Price. Good food and Good price, if you cant make it to the other Carnivore buffet this is the place for you.

I was invited for Sunday brunch at this location... The location is beautiful but we kept begging our waiter to bring us water.. The steaks were either tough or rubbery. The buffet reminded me of golden corral. Next time I'll suggest TdB.

They are getting better!!!. I had visited The Knife Bayside Location about two years ago, and It kind of dissappointed me. The service was sub par and the food, specially the meats didn't impressed me.
Last Saturday I gave it another try, because my brother wanted to try it for himself, and I was pleasantly surprised. The service was very good, we were seated promptly, used plates were picked up immediately, the bottles of wine were replaced when empty and our glasses of water and soft drinks were never left empty.
The buffet bars were ok, but what really impressed me was the quality and choices of meat cuts at the grill.
I started with the churrasco, then the vacio and then the filet mignon, all were good potions and served to specification. The variety of sausages and grilled vegetables as side dishes was very good. I was even surprised by the size and quality of the flan I had for dessert. All this in one reasonable price.
I will come back again to this all you can eat feast!!!
This visit was on a Saturday Night around 8:00pm.

Excellent food and wait staff - smoke alarm ruined the atmosphere. This was my first visit to Knife, and the concept, food and wait staff were all excellent! Priced well for what you get, I was overall very satisifed. The only down point in the night was the smoke alarm that went off for about 5 minutes. The staff seemed indifferent to it so I'm not sure if they were trying to keep people from running out of the building or if it was just a normal occurence.

However, the food was on par with a $20-$30/plate dinner in an all you can eat buffet. I put away 1.5 filet minon's that were PERFECTLY cooked, a slice or two off of a top sirloin and the last half of some ribs my wife couldn't finish! Definately got my money's worth, although now I don't need to eat for a week!!

For roughly $30 there isn't a better way to break one of the seven deadly sins and get your money's worth, except maybe from getting a half-and-half in a Bangkok whorehouse. Both of those options leave you with a little more meat than you bargained for. P
