Great ambiance, the brisket sandwich and the corn fritters where awesome. highly recommend.
The food was awesome! Most of all the hospitality was the best! U also can sample different beers! Thumbs up but hot bbq sauce!
We found Sparky’s by a google search for near by restaurants. The atmosphere was very cool and staff very friendly. The bbq was different than what I’m used (St Louis style) to but very good. I had the baby back ribs and brisket with fries and baked beans. The brisket was in a sauce and very tender. The ribs had a nice rub and tender. My wife enjoyed her veggie burger and fries. I ended my experience with the key lime pie. If you are in the mood for good bbq, I suggest Sparky’s.
Casual bbq spot with service above and beyond expectations. Awesome beer selection both on draft and bottle. Server knew everybeer, very impressive. deserts: just get the banana pudding and thank me later. Chicken tenders are fantastic. Biggest suprise was the salad was actually really nice. As far as the bbq goes I would opt for one the the sandwiches. The 3 meats is decent but go the sandwich route.
This is one of the few gems of downtown Miami. The reason? Great food and a wide selection of beer. The place gets really crowded specially during lunch hours and Fridays, which can make the wait longer, but I definitely a tasty option for meat lovers. And if you bring a vegan friend they have salads too. Everyone wins here :)
First - great beer selection - beer 12 on tap and a wide variety of bottled. The brisket cheese steak sandwich with peppers was excellent. I am a collared greens fan and they don't disappoint. The pecan pie was excellent. It doesn't hurt that the server was really nice.
Came here with two friends on a week night with a little over an hour before their closing. The staff was immediately helpful and very very friendly which is always a thumbs up in my book. Our server recommended a craft beer for everyone at the table based on their preference and I can't remember which I had but I remember loving it!
My party of three decided to order a bunch of menu items to share family style so we could all taste a little bit of everything. We started off with the bacon which was stunningly delicious. The bacon was perfectly glazed and came thick cut which we all enjoyed. Next we had the corn nuggets which I was a fan of but when it came to the corn bread that was a bit of a miss for me since I found it too dry so it became very crumbly. We ordered the three meats platter: guava ribs, pulled pork, and brisket. The guava ribs were amazing and I was surprised how much I enjoyed the guava flavor since I'm not big on sweet bbq. The pulled pork was also very good but I didn't like the brisket too much. I thought the brisket was overcooked and too salty for my taste. The sides were delicious though of sweet potato mash and macaroni. So there were some ups and downs with our meal.
I would come back if I was Downtown craving some BBQ but found the prices to be a little steep.

Update review on this reataurant. Due to Covid 19, the restaurant cannot accomodate customers inside, however they now have tables with nice parasols outside for your convenience. Go ahead and support your neighbors and local businesses. We need to keep in mind that all members of staff count on the customers to try and make ends meet. Makig a living for restaurants and hotels employees is so difficult at the time being just like everyone else's. The staff here are curtious and kind, helpful and welcoming. Let us all be kind and let those who can, assist those who cannot. The food is very tasty and affordable. A meal can cost no more than 15 bucks or so. A big meal. I suggest the brisket or the special of the day. The banana pudding is also a delight. Check new pictures to see the outside seating area.
Great tasting BBQ! I had a lunch meeting there and was expecting the typical BBQ joint, but I was very much surprised. The pulled pork was "melt in your mouth" deliciousness. Paired with your craft beer of choice and you just can't go wrong. ❤ 🍖 🐖
Great little place. Was not expecting much when walking over to it in this business district. Pleasantly surprised with some yummy bbq. His dry rub ribs were a bit better than my wet tinier ones, but the brisket was great! We got th blast corn bread and I dont think they have another corn alternative - might be wrong.
We had been at the Pérez Art Museum Miami and were looking for a place close enough but not your usual tourist stop. The reviews were promising and though none of us is a barbecue fan we decided to give it a try. We are glad we did. The place atmosphere feels authentic, the food was great and the service was friendly. We had the Beef Brisket & Pulled Pork and ribs with the dry rub.
Had a craving for some brisket but decided to have the sausage sandwich instead. WOW. the fries that came with it were devoured in a minute and the sandwich rocked my appetite. Staff are friendly and fun too.
