Hands Down best cuban Food is in South Miami and Doral Area..staying true with affordable prices and traditional cuban food! I love the atmosphere and service.. food was OMG! Very affordable..love the pick up window.. Lately alot restaurants been giving cuban food a bad name with its New Modern Expensive Fusion Cuban style of food... Not this place...Authentic and real! Worth the drive form fort lauderdale
Amazing food every time. But when I ask a simple question "in English" and it takes you 5 minutes to go find someone that can understand what I'm saying...that's an issue.
Great food. Would certainly recommend.
Growing up in Miami, this has always been one of my favorite Cuban spots for meals at any time. From yummy buttered pan cubano with café con leche to my go to bistec empanizado with congri and tostones, I’m never disappointed. Love the atmosphere and if you want a true authentic Cuban vibe, this is your spot!
Was a bit disappointed with the Cuban Sandwich, Especial. Only a couple of slices of meat and a lot of bread. The Cuban coffee was bitter and low on sugar, surprisingly. The waitress was in a bad mood, I assumed. This is coming from someone who has eaten there many times. Let's hope it was a fluke.
If you are looking for actual Cuban food, this is the place to be.
My family and I love this place whenever we want to eat Cuban / Caribbean style! Their black beans, café con leche, breakfast, lunch and dinner are fully recommended!
Excellent service! Super nice! Plates were excellent cooked. The food was delicious. Served a good portion. Definitely will come back when visit Miami again.
Keeping it Simple at the La Carretta, alway good, the Pan con Bistec! It’s a classic and must… if you haven’t tried it.
buen provecho.
We were this past Saturday afternoon and we were dissapointed that they had runned out of a couple of items on their menu. So we ordered what was available. Seating was fast as the hostes basically to head to the back area and sit where ever we wanted. Our server was friendly and attentive. We started with the platano soup which was really good. We ordered the Cuban Special plate. This plate brought Tamal, Croqueta, Roast Pork, Picadillo, Fried Plantains or Maduros, White Rice, Black Beans, and Boiled Yuca! Although the waiter told me it was not a big plate honestly it is a lot of food. My friend ordered the Picadillo plate with Moros, and Fried Plantains. The food was tasty and there was plenty for the amount of money we paid which was around $30 without tip. All in all we will return.
