Best Chinese food in Miami, and one of the best in US hands down. Every dish, while I've had it elsewhere, is just made tastier here. It's a remarkable restaurant, and the prices are about the same as other Chinese restaurants. Loved everything we got (which was almost every dim sum they made there)!

I highly recommend Tropical Chinese Restaurant for anyone looking for delicious Chinese food. Since my first visit, I have been coming to this restaurant at least 2-3 times per week. The food is always fresh and flavorful, and the service is excellent. I particularly recommend the sweet and sour chicken, beef jerky and the shrimp dimplings. The prices are also very reasonable. Overall, I am very satisfied with my experiences at Tropical Chinese and would definitely recommend it to others.

Traditional Chinese Restaurant in Miami. Great food with fair prices. Go for the Dim Sum and if you’re feeling hungry, try their Pecking Duck!

There's a reason they've been serving up quality dining since 1984, the food is amazing. We dined on Thursday to celebrate a 50th bday party and there wasn't a single plate we didn't try that didn't blow our minds! the white fish in honey was so good, I ordered a second plate. The owner joined us for a while, he's a class act. this is the best dim sum in the entire South Florida

oh wao.. excellent food and ambiance. prices are a bit high but the quality of the food is there. delicious. Ordered special fried rice..was fresh and ingredients top quality a long half a duck. duck was succulent and delicious.

The place was very busy tonight. So you had to wait a little bit for the server. The lucky Bubba beer was good. The Appetizer was good. We didn't get a chance to try the Dumplings. They were out of them..😥😥

We came here on a recommendation from a friend and boy, was it a great recommendation!! Everything we ordered was incredibly delicious! See photos for details! It seriously had the best fried rice I have ever had. It didn’t taste super fried or greasy like most Chinese restaurants are! It was fast service, straight to point and delicious food. 10/10 recommend. We will definitely be coming here again!!

We had a wonderful experience at Tropical Chinese today. We have been going there for many years. The food and service are excellent and Jenny treated us very well. She makes you feel right and home and gave us great food recommendations. You will not be disapointed!

My Friend Jenn first introduced me to this family owned restaurant a year ago.. She knows the owner., Tim. The food here is Still fresh, Still Absolutely delicious . The service is great. I Love Love Love coming here. And the owners dad is the sweetest! 🥰.!

The service was awful. My friend and I went on Sunday, June 10, 2018 about 7:45 PM. I have had great service and food in the past, but on this night it was a bad experience . The restaurant was not busy, a usual Sunday night, with adequate serving staff. It took 30 minutes for our waiter take our order. While we were asking questions about the menu the waiter’s attitude was impatient and not caring. However a party of 5 Persons next table over, who were of Asian decent (Chinese) were cared for by our same waiter with a smile, the waiter dished their food on each guest plate, he communicated asking questions, and giving the party of 5 the royal treatment. Mean while ignoring my friend and I at the next table as we died of thirst. We just wanted a refill on our water which another waiter finally brought at the end of our meal. I mentioned to the other waiter that we were being neglected by our waiter he stated that our wawas very busy with the party of 5. I don’t often say people are racist nor do I ever feel this often in Miami, but I am African American and my friend is Puerto Rican, we are both Carmel complexion. On the way out I notice the hostess said good night to all those leaving except to my friend and I. Another reason why I am giving this racist restaurant one star is because the prices are outrageous now, compared to a few years ago the peaking duck was $40, now it is $75. A small plate of Bok choy is now $16 ( I am sure it’s not organic). I will not be supporting this restaurant in the future. Funny I used to know the manager “May” whom I also thought was a warm and genuine person. What happen to this place?

We absolutely love this restaurant! Best dim sum in the world!!! My family has been coming to this restaurant for many years and my children who first came as babies dream about eating here. Child and family friendly. Service is great and really quick since the carts bring the food to the table. The fried spice chicken and the orange beef are to die for and all the other dim sums are amazing! Above and beyond

Dim Sum ! The palace of them, be aware that almost everything they offer in the charts are with shrimp. They have the best veggie ones on the menu. Food is amazing No doubt the best Chinese restaurant !!!!

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Miami. I have been dining there for over 20 years and have absolutely no complaints. The Peking duck is outstanding and the dim sum as well. Their excellent variety of dishes, the great wine list and the service is top of the line. I will continue to enjoy their cuisine as often as I can.

I am a very picky eater. But, after I had dinner on 1/20 & lunch on 1/22 at Tropical Chinese restaurant, I was thinking to move to Miami so that I could enjoy their food regularly. OMG! Tropical Chinese has the best of everything. Ex: Duck, shrimp, scallop, fish, beef...etc. even all the appetite dishes. I love them all. I even ordered carry out of their Dim Sum and bring all the way back to Maryland to treat my friends. They said they love it soooo much and they wish I ordered more. Hahaha! I know, but fly back with extra carry on is not so easy. I have to trash some of my clothes. OMG! I have never been so crazy even I love food very much and I am a world traveller, I have been many great restaurants. I have to say: Tropical Chinese restaurant is the best Chinese restaurant. If you ever go to Miami, you have to visit Tropical Chinese Restaurant. I promise you, you will love it.

The Peking Duck is one of the best we have ever had. Also the best Lychee martini ever!

Food was good but Shrimp fried rice, although good, not as good as other times. However, still the best Chinese food around Miami.

We tried the seafood soup for the first time and loved it. Also tried the dry sautéed green beans which were also excellent. My all time favorite never disappoints: ginger scallion live Maine lobster. Service was great and so are their lychee martinis.
