Review The Spillover - Miami

Had the Frita by Kush and it was phenomenal. Claim to have been rated top 52 burgers across the US, I had to try it and boy was it good. Quality meat and cooked to medium rare, this juicy burger should not be slept on. This is coming from someone with a history of rating burgers as a hobby. Also first time having gator bites. Was pretty happy with those as well

Enjoyed a wonderful brunch here with friends! The cocktails are as much works of art as delicious. The chicken and waffles with a bit of kick in the syrup were excellent and we enjoyed sharing a bread pudding dessert at the end! A lovely casual little spot in the heart of the Grove.

The burger and dessert was great. The friars burger is definitely worth every bite. The sweet candied bacon with the jelly on the burger was juicy. Only down is that service was pretty slow compare to other restaurants

Sweet, small spot in coconut. All four of us liked our meals. Chicken and Waffles were delicious. We also tried the fish and chip, tacos and crab cakes. Yummy. Service was friendly and quick.

I got the Local Fish Sandwich (Cajun Grilled White Fish, Lettuce, Red Onions, Pickles, Fish Dressing on a Honey Wheat Bun) and it was really good! Fish was perfectly cooked and a really good amount too. I was also very surprised by the amount of lettuce in there! I usually need to ask for extras, but this was a lot and just right! Really soft bun too. Very big highlight here? That Fish Dressing! Oh my it was just amazing! I asked for it on the side, and could have had it just plain too! For my side I got the cauliflower mash. It was a really generous amount, right amount of softness and cheesiness too, and overall really good. Tiny bit on the salty side, but still good. I ordered my fiancé the Frita By Kush (burger with Guava Jelly, Potato Six, Bacon, Swiss Cheese and LoKal Sauce). I didn't bet a chance to try it, but he said it was really good too!

Jambalaya and crab cakes were just “down-right gooood” and the drinks were interestingly yummy! My only comment that was less than favorable was the 20% service charge added to my party of two. I tip well for great service and didn’t expect an automatic charge.

Delicious food, great beer collection, and excellent service! The food was fresh and local with something to offer for everyone. They offer many local crafts including some made just for Kush. The staff was on point and very friendly.

The Spillover is an amazing restaurant, it has delicious, high quality seafood for super fair prices! The fried fish sandwich was freshly caught that day and it took me straight to Flavortown!! They also have a secret menu appetizer "Snapper Scraps," they are littlec fried snapper chunks with Buffalo sauce on them and they are to die for. If you are in Coconut Grove and love fresh seafood, go here without hesitation!

I enjoyed the crab cakes and my wife had the whole fish I really appreciated the ambience of this restaurant which felt original and homey. The food did take a bit to come and several dishes were unavailable when we went later in the evening. The food was well worth the wait. Would recommend this location for good seafood.

Kush BY Spillover, great place to have lunch or Dinner in Coconut Grove, almost all the plates I have tried are amazing. Special mention to the Frita Burger, OMG you have to try it. Great beer, great outdoor, double ceiling indoor with great decoration. Snacks and water for dogs, it has it all.

I went here for some food. They sell alot of alcohol and it had somewhat of a bar or tavern feel. Really I saw the name and was curious what they sold :-) Anyway The alligator bites were good. I had 2 sets of fish tacos. Both were good. One fried and one grilled. The restaurant has seating inside and outside . The food is tasty and not bad priced. Overall good and I do recommend

Good atmosphere, good service once seated. I was a solo eater for late brunch and they were able to squeeze me in. Drink menu is very nice, 120K was the perfect choice for what I like. Smoked salmon plate for brunch was a star. Grouper Reuben is a unique take on the grouper sandwich.

Tucked away in the shops at Mayfair. There is actually a parking lot entrance steps from the door. This was Spillover the fish and cider oriented member of the Kush restaurants. Now it's Kush by Spillover.. and the menu is a mix of burgers and fish sandwiches (and you can now get chicken and waffles). The menu is good, food is well executed and tasty. I definitely miss my fav item, the Pan Con Minuta is no longer on the menu. Is is easier to get parking at this end of Grand. The Covid protocols appear solid and the tables (outside) are well spaced.

Cool place to grab a bite and a drink, worth a stop if you're in the area. VIBE Funky beach side feel, bar made of Old Bay cans, wood top, brick and wood interior with splashes of local flair. Small bar but have everything they need to make fun cocktails, seats limited at the bar. Lounge atmosphere inside, but there are tables available outside under umbrellas if it's a nice day. Servers friendly and dedicated to ensuring a good customer experience. FOOD Ordered two of the specialty cocktails, they were novel but a little more alcohol would provide a better foundation for the flavor combinations they use. Cool cocktails but ask for an extra shot if you're planning to get one. Ordered the fish tacos and jambalaya. Jambalaya was seasoned well, good portions of proteins yet rice was a bit undercooked. Enjoyed overall. The mahi mahi fish tacos look great but the fish was undercooked and had a strong fishy smell. We ended up sending back. The manager apologized sincerely and handled the situation really well. Clearly customer service is their priority, which I appreciate. Overall cool experience and great concept, but need better quality control with the food. Worth another shot if in the neighborhood again. Pros +Great setup, doing a lot with the space they have and creating a fun/cozy environment. +Food and drink are great ideas if exwcutes with consistency +Prioritize customer experience Cons -Food preparation inconsisent/udercooked -Wish had better local beers

This place is not cheap, but it will NOT disappoint!! I ate EVERYTHING here. The gator ribs, the crab cakes, the conch strips and for dessert the EXCELLENT key lime pie. All with a few craft beers. Everything had it’s unique flavor, cooked perfectly. Our waitress was great. She was very passionate about the food and we took her every suggestion and were not disappointed. I would come back in a heartbeat. Wish I had taken more pictures.
