Review Versailles Bakery - Miami

If you’re in Miami, you must visit Cafe Versailles! There is a restaurant, pick up window, and a cafe. We always go to the cafe for pastries and coffee. The beef empanadas, chicken croquettes, and the flan were all divine.

We just went to Versailles in Miami Airport, a regular stop for us when flying through this airport. The line is normally long but there's a reason for that..it's so so good. We always buy a bag full of their hand made Empanadas (favorites are chicken and beef) and a Cafe con Leche (delicious Cuban Coffee) A great stop if you have time in Miami Airport.

A trip to Miami is not complete without a visit to Versailles bakery. On the day we visited it was buzzing with activity. Busy with locals speaking Spanish getting some of their favourite bakery treats and a morning cafe con leche. A must. Browse their windows, ask questions and enjoy some of their tasty quick treats and eats. If you get a sandwich ask for it to be warmed up. Makes perfect for a quick breakfast or easy daytime snacks. 🍪The Most Incredible Biscotti EVER!!🍪 I hold religiously to the proverb that a tea is best enjoyed with a biscotti on the side--and I've yet to taste a better biscotti than what Versailles Cuban Bakery makes! I was fortunate enough to receive a box of them from a friend (they last several days after purchase, so gifting is encouraged!). They're quite sizable--almost as big as my hand--and incredibly soft and delightfully "doughy." The almond variant comes with slices of almond coating the entire treat, all with a rich, succulent almond-extract note permeating each bite. I've tried dipping them in several different types of tea, and everything from black rose blends to rooibos vanilla has tasted amazing in complement. Highly recommended!

Two words: Tres Leches. If you're eating at the restaurant (get the Cuban sandwich) stroll over here to the bakery and get a Tres Leches pastry. If you're not eating here, drive over here -- even if it's out of the way, and get a Tres Leches from the bakery here. It's that good. There will be queues here, any time day or night, so make sure to budget ample time for your visit

Yo, just next door when dinner was done, We found a spot that was second to none. The bakery beckoned, we answered the call, For a slice of tiramisu, best of them all. Not a sweet tooth, but I gave it a chance, This dessert, my friends, it made me dance. Light and creamy, not too sweet, A perfect treat that can’t be beat. It was the finale of our night’s feast, A masterpiece from the very least. So if you’re winding down and near, Grab this tiramisu, you’ll cheer!

This place is excellent and so delicious! It was also a very good price, and I even came back and bought more before I left. The Cubano sandwich, Papa Relleno, and Coffee were definitely the highlight for me. I drove more than an hour from Palm Beach and it did not disappoint!

If you’re looking for Cuban bread, pastries, sandwiches, cafe, or pretty much anything delicious, and you’re in Miami, then let me suggest Cafe Versailles. Know that it’s not an avant-garde type of restaurant, but an old school place with old school prices and good service. There’s a sit down restaurant, a walk-up window, and there’s a cafe area. My husband and I went for lunch at the cafe one day, and I loved it so much that I went back for breakfast the next morning. I never go to the same place twice when visiting a city, so that’s saying something. For lunch, we had the Cuban Sandwich, the Chicken Salad (best I’ve ever had), and I had an Americano. For breakfast the next day at the sit-down restaurant, which was so clean - by the way - I probably could have eaten off of the floors, we the Cuban Breakfast, and an omelette and grits. (They’ll make an omelette any way you like it.) They bring out buttered Cuban toast too. If we were in town for longer, I probably would have gone back for dinner. I can’t stress here how gorgeous the pastries were. Oh! The pastries. There were full-size and petit cakes. There were pistachio and chocolate eclairs, cookies of every sort, Key Lime and Strawberry Pies, shiny fruit mini-tarts, and I could go on and on. If I were in Miami and I needed cheering up, I would just go back to the bakery, smell those kitchen fragrances and marvel at those pastries. In fact, I think Cafe Versailles will be my first stop when I go back to Miami. If one can fall in love with a restaurant/bakery, then I’m in love with Cafe Versailles.

What a fantastic Cuba Sandwich! It was mid day so we chose to stop at the bakery instead of the full restaurant experience and we were not disappointed. Great, helpful staff and we were able to sit outside with our pets. Security guard is roaming around and makes small talk to add comfort. Make sure you stop in, no other spot matches up!

This place was packed because it’s fantastic! So many savoury and sweet treats. The coffee smelt like it dropped down from heaven. The daily highlight was meeting older Cubans with stories ready to be shared. Precious moments with strangers.
