Review Zuma Miami - Miami

Excellent high-end spot for Japanese “tapas”. Portions are small, but delicious nevertheless. The cocktails were amazing, especially the egg white smoked whiskey cocktail! Wow! Atmosphere was great, we sat at the bar and were able to have a conversation with the ambient noise and music playing. Would definitely recommend!

You expect certain quality when going to any Zuma and this branch was no exception for most of the dishes! Location wise is very nice and ambiance still good although they signature dish as the black cod was not good at all and they lack some specials that u find in other branches. Better to try something miami based tbh

This was our first time at Zuma Miami! The vibe is energetic and classy!! We had an incredible time… Our server, Brandon, and all of the table support teams were absolutely outstanding! We loved the omakase Signature dining experience so much, that we might return this weekend!!

The Edamame was THE BEST! I would go back and just have that and a drink. They also had some of the best Waygu steak with delicious Chimichurri. Everything was amazing and the service was phenomenal. I definitely recommend but make a reservation!

Zuma is quickly becoming our go to spot since we moved from LA to Brickell. Love the food, drinks and vibe by the water. The sushi and fish is always of great quality and fresh. Try the seabass or miso cod - buttery and super soft which melts in your mouth. The espresso martini is a favorite and the wine selection has a good variety. The service has improved since we first came here a few months ago, hope they will keep up the good hospitality. I enjoy the live DJ in the evening playing nice house and pop music.

The food here was amazing! The flavors of each dish were absolutely delicious! They offer sushi, seafood , steak and pork! Everything cooked to perfection! Service was great from the moment we stepped in! Went on a Saturday and they had a DJ, music was not too loud so you can enjoy a conversation! I definitely enjoyed my evening!

The Miami Spice menu drew me in. So i tried to make a reservation, for 1, but couldn't do it online. So i called... And they don't take reservations for 1, but if there was room i could sit at either the bar or sushi bar. Sushi Bar for 1, please. Dishes arrived mostly one by one, and they were well paced. Dinner started with two dishes - steamed spinach and seabass sashimi. The steamed spinach was covered in a heavy coat of sesame dressing, too heavy for my taste. It was like the spinach had been dragged through a pot of tahini. I was suddenly worried that I'd picked the wrong spot for dinner. The next fish i messed up eating as i misunderstood the instructions. The instructions were given to me twice both times rapid fire. I should have asked a third time and told them to slow it down. I ate the fish separately from the truffle and roe. The truffle and roe should have been on top of the fish. This dish even with my faulty consumption was better than the spinach. I'm still a little worried I'd picked very poorly for dinner. The third dish delivered completed the appetizer course. It was spicy fried chicken. It was good. Maybe dinner wouldn't be terrible. Next came "course two", some salmon nigiri and a spicy tuna roll. They were all good. Not great, but good. Okay, so now dinner was almost good. Now for "course three", corn on the cob plus a beef filet. The corn was tender and delicious, but I didn't enjoy the corn stuck in my teeth. The beef tenderloin was perfectly cooked and sliced into pieces ready to eat with chopsticks. The sauce was delicious...i wanted to lick it off the plate. Dinner was now good. The final course was"dessert", lava cake. The chocolate sauce was plentiful and very hot. I left full. Glad I'd tried Zuma. But i don't have any desire to return.

When you think of Zuma you think of class and service. It’s been like that for years. But there is so much competition in restaurant world in Miami that the need to be perfect to get a 5 star. The food there is still very good and the servers are good looking and professional. It’s a good ambiance. Some food could be improved. The tiger prawn 🍤 tempura is an example of a dish that needs improvement. The fried batter is very thick with flour making it not enjoyable. I still go back from time to time
