Do not eat here. Our waiter was nice, but everything else about our experience was terrible. Food took forever to come out. When it did, every single item had something very wrong with it; literally. For example, two of the dishes were cold to the touch, açaí bowl was completely melted, chicken and waffles came with Tyson chicken strips, they served us French fries when the menu said potato hash, and more. Yes that was bad and all, but it wasn’t the worst part. When we mentioned that we felt that we needed a discount, (the alternative was to leave the food and walk out) the manager came out; Diana. She was the rudest person I have ever seen working a customer service job. She tried to argue with us and escalate the situation into a pissing match, which is the exact opposite of her job description! I kinda understand getting away with that type of service and behavior with tourists, because they will never be back. But we are locals, who have eaten there before! We will never return. Our experience was the worst I have ever had at a restaurant before.

This place was not a sunny experience at all. I would give it no stars if possible. I’m not sure which was worse, the food or the manager. I came here in a party of 5, We were the first ones in and our food still took an incredibly long time to come out. And we waited 15 minutes just for water. When our food finally arrived each one of us had something wrong with our order. 1. The banana bread wasn’t listed as the menu described. 2. Two dishes were completely cold. (No one likes cold eggs) 3. The açaí bowl was completely melted, runny and warm. 4. A dish was supposed to come with hash, but they were out so it was replaced with French fries, we weren’t asked about this change or informed. 5. The chicken and waffles are supposed to come with chicken breast and instead it had chicken strips. We talked it over and decided we had to make a complaint. Diana, the manager came over. We politely tried to explain why we were unsatisfied but she didn’t seem to listen, wasn’t understanding and generally had a very bad attitude. It was so bad and disappointing. After much effort we got our meal discounted only 20% (which only covered the included gratuity they clearly did not deserve) Just don’t come here, unless you like cold eggs and warm açaí soup.

Loved it! After waiting around at competitor down street whose kitchen was in transition between breakfast and lunch, we found Sunny's around 11:45 and was offered both breakfast and lunch menu! Avocado toast with stone crab, veggie burger with juice pulp, fried avocado taco. Yum! Staff were laid back and friendly. They also offer variety of healthy smoothie's that would be great after late night on Ocean Drive.

Good food but unfortunately very bad service. We were waiting for our order for more than 40 minutes and received it only after we reminded staff about After all waitress told us "just on time"!!! Very disrespectful attitude and Any excuses!!! And!!! they already put 20% tips in the bill. There are much better places on Miami Beach for this price and with much better service and attitude! Highly not recommend.
