Top Burger

The food was good, but the staff behind the register was pretty rude. The guy cooking the burgers was awesome, though. My wife was walking back to her seat with a tray that had some fries on it. There was this little 2-3" high step on the floor that isn't marked with yellow paint or anything like that, so it's not easy to see. She tripped on it and the fries went flying everywhere. She told the woman behind the register (Jessica, Jennifer, something like that) about it and she had a "so what, not my problem" kind of attitude, and wanted to charge her for more fries. I get that the issue wasn't directly the fault of Top Burger (the step thing kind of is, but I digress), but customer service was definitely lacking. An order of fries probably costs them a dollar at the most, so making a new batch should have been no big deal. I worked in bars and restaurants for almost a decade and that's pretty standard, even if nobody who works there caused the problem. The customer is (almost) always right. Eventually she got new fries at no cost, but the spilled ones stayed on the floor by the entrance for a good 20 minutes after that even though they weren't very busy. After that, when she got her burger it was made incorrectly. Because of the experience with the front of the house staff, she was hesitant to even say anything. She told the same woman about the burger, and her response was to "go tell the cook." What?! On what planet does a customer have to walk over to the cook to get something corrected? You're the "face" of the restaurant if you're in the front. Your job is customer service. You take the burger, walk it over to the cook, and explain the problem to him. Not the customer. These burgers are like $13. It's not like it's some cheap self-serve place. So anyway, my wife told the guy making the burgers about it and he was really awesome and friendly - he apologized and had a new burger made in no time. The food itself was very good, but for that kind of money, I'd expect better treatment.

Easy to find, big windows with lots of seating dine in or take away. Signs everything stating 'Never Frozen..' however I watched burger patties defrosting on the grill. Good burger, certainly better than typical fast food. Fries are ok. Decent pricing for what you receive. Friendly staff, bathroom is dark and dingy in need of a good overhaul, repairs required.

Been there after a while thinking if go or not to this place. They have posters everywhere inside stating that everything is fresh and no frozen items are served. Burger was average and french fries was definitely frozen, otherwise I have to congratulate with them to make them seem very much like frozen fries. In addition we did order a beer with it, a Corona to be specific, they serve it with no lemon or lime and if you ask, they do not have any available. A bit sad... Will not go back

This is the only place on our whole vacation that I have actually been wowed by! Service was amazing, and the same guy had to hustle to go cook our burgers after taking out order. The food came super quickly, orders were completely correct, and the food was delicious! The best! Thank you to Top Burger!!!
