Review Aztekita Restaurant - Metamora

I went to have some lunch after work and hadn't eaten all day. I was expecting to have to wait at least 10 minutes before the food got out, but I was pleasantly surprised to see a steming hot plate coming my way less than 5 minutes after I ordered. Friendly atmosphere just added to the quality of the experience. And the food was delicious.

It's ok if you don't want to drive very far to eat. Food is good but the service was slow and the waitress seemed like she didn't care if you come or go. Several times we asked her for something and she walked away. She brought it but we didn't know if she was going to or not because she didn't say anything. Maybe it was her bad day. Who knows.Next time, Dairy Queen.

Food was great. A bit over priced but expected that out of a smaller operation. Our waiter(the guy with the long black hair) and the only person I saw working was very rude and never smiled even once! My wife ordered a margarita after him checking her ID. She let me have a sip and he freaked out b/c I hadn't showed him my ID. I had it on me and I'm ALOT older than my wife. He was extremely rude about it and both me and my wife were shocked! We almost left right then, but we were so hungry. This place is not representative of the happy, authentic, Mexican culture from my experience. I never complain at all usually, I'm very easy to please. This however set me off.

I ordered $14 fajitas and got about half as much meat as I usually get at several other Mexican restaurants. Asked for double beans and got double rice. Usually have good luck at any Mexican restaurant, but not this one. Service was fine, so gave it two stars.

Got the lunch fajitas yesterday and the steak tasted off, like it had a slightly sour taste. I was going to get guacamole but they are charging 3.49 for a 4oz cup. Chips were overcooked and very hard/dark. I would recommend going elsewhere, most of my to-go order went in the trash.

The restaurant is quaint, and absolutely delicious. The person that greets us every time we come is very warm and pleasant. The food is wonderful, portions are generous, and it's an easy walk in town!

I was doing some work at the library next door and one of the owners told us to come in to eat after we were done working. I'm so happy we did! Food was amazing and the service was wonderful! Also the margarita's are top notch.

Great authentic Mexican food. Large portions for the prices. Quick & friendly service. We will go back! Highly recommend. dh :)

Everything we have tried is delicious and authentic! Great family! Their flautas are my favorite! Thankful for them in our little town! �
