So I randomly found this place on yelp. And I have to say it was awesome!!!! Way better than expected. Metairie doesn't have enough brunch spots but the food was great and I loved the bloody Mary bar (even though I don't drink bloody Mary's lol). I just thought the concept was so cute! I'm really picky when it comes to tomato soup and chicken salad sandwiches and there's was perfect! We will definitely be back!
Everytime I have been has been awesome~ the food looks and tastes amazing. The counter girls and waitstaff are friendly and smiling to everyone, even if the patrons are gumpy & rude. I defintely recommend the healthy egg white breakfast with fresh fruit, tomatoes and aspargus was perfect POST spin meal.
They never disappoint me. Excellent food and service!
This food is so good. I went here for a bachelorette party weekend and a girls day brunch and let me tell you, you won’t be disappointed.
Breakfast was amazing! Staff was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. Would definitely make this a regular stop whenever I come to Metairie!!!!
The food is unbelievably amazing, service is great and you can't forget the bottomless Bloody Mary's with house infused flavored vodkas!!!!
WoW! Talk about one fantastic breakfast. And topped off with some of the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had.
Great breakfast, nice omelet stuffed with all the fixins and cheese, and I like the grits there. I’ll be back

The couchon de lait biscuit was delicious. I didn't realize how big it would be and could only eat half of it. And their homemade hot sauce was good too. I can't wait to go back and try some other things on the menu.
Awesome. I was looking for something different and that's what I got. It was very good. I had breakfast sandwich with fried egg, pulled pork with red eye gravy.
Best lobster roll ever!!! Hope you keep it on the menu.
Everything is fresh, delicious, and innovative! Best food around!
Definitely coming back, the food was amazing with a great taste!
Always awesome. Get the Cuban or the st paddys day massacre or anything. All good. Best iced tea anywhere
Small menu, but this is good as everything they do have is excellent
Omg !!!! I love the Cuban sandwich craving it right now!!!!
Really good food. Casual atmosphere. It is so nice to have a decent place in Old Metairie. Service is quick considering how busy they are on the weekends. This is my go to breakfast spot.
While I don't often journey into Metairie, when I heard (quite a few months ago) that Chef Brad McGehee had opened up his own breakfast spot after leaving Ye Olde College Inn , I simply had to go check it out. Though it is tough to convince John to leave the house on Saturday mornings, I managed to drag him out for breakfast at the Blue Line Sandwich Co . on Metairie Road. When we walked in, there was a lull at the counter so we were able to order quickly, get our giant mugs of French Truck Coffee and grab a table before the rush. While we waited for our food to arrive, we watched traffic roll by outside the window and commented to each other on the sparse, but appropriate blue decor. By the time we were almost finished with our first cuppa Joe, our food came flying out of the kitchen all in a rush. We decided to share a plate of biscuits and gravy, and while the biscuits were buttery and fluffy, the gravy was a lot thinner in consistency then I had hoped, even though the flavors were all present and accounted for. A minor glitch, perhaps? For entrees, John ordered the Cochon de Lait Biscuit and I got the Broken Yolk Sandwich. John's slow-cooked pork with grilled tomatoes and red-eye gravy certainly looked "to die for," but the flavor was somewhat blander than he had imagined. On the other hand, my sandwich made with house-corned beef, Swiss cheese, grilled onions and a fried egg on seven grain toast was spot on. My only complaint was a devout wish for more corned beef because it was, put quite simply, off the friggin hook. All in all, I chalked any oddities up to being a newly opened restaurant that was still working out the kinks, but the beautiful biscuits and my Broken Yolk Sandwich are more than enough reason to seek a return trip.
Came here with a local friend. She recommended the special and it surely didn't disappoint. The food is delicious. She loves the ice tea here and I was a fan of the coffee.
The grits are not what one sees as standard but they were chunky and delicious.
The food was delicious. I love the atmosphere and customer service. The gumbo infused Bloody Mary is a must try. I plan to visit every time I am travel from California.
I am definitely going back. We had the St. Paddy's Day Massacre with a cup of the duck & mushroom gumbo, and the organic turkey and sprouts. Everything was delicious.
Today my boyfriend and I decided to venture out (since I’m new to the area) and desired a new place for breakfasts. We landed at Blue Line Sandwich to take if for a trial run. When first entering, it was packed with a line. From initial glance you’d think “I don’t feel like a long line and then the struggle to find a place to sit”. We stuck it out and found the line to move on a consistent basis. Then low and behold, the bar opens up for two which you can order food and enjoy a beverage as well. We sat and I have to share - what SERVICE! This is one of the top items on my list that will make or break the experience. Although slammed, we were acknowledged by the cutest little lady with a grand smile and shortly her taken our order. Next, the food was goodness while our cups remained filled and the little things we asked for being cared for without making us feel as we imposing. I will be returning and I recommend you trial it as well.

Server was prompt and friendly. Best oj I've had in a while but it's 6$ a glass so buyer beware. Waffle was cooked perfectly and potatoes were delicious Would like to get more than two slivers of bacon but I will def try this place again.
The owner has a little blurb about breakfast being his favorite meal of the day and that is completely evident when eating here. This is a great breakfast spot if you're looking for a little more than Betsy's pancakes, but not a Brennans blowout.
I've been twice now and every item is perfectly executed, always fresh and full of flavor. Go for the specials if you want a real treat.
Great brussel sprout salads, great eggs with sweet potato bites, and great freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. However we went on the day of the Saints game, and noticed the servers were very slow with picking up after customers. Again, probably due to the game, and it's called the Big Easy after all, but still something I noticed and I'm sure other customers. Big servings for a good price!
