Came here with a local friend. She recommended the special and it surely didn't disappoint. The food is delicious. She loves the ice tea here and I was a fan of the coffee. The grits are not what one sees as standard but they were chunky and delicious.
The food was delicious. I love the atmosphere and customer service. The gumbo infused Bloody Mary is a must try. I plan to visit every time I am travel from California.
I am definitely going back. We had the St. Paddy's Day Massacre with a cup of the duck & mushroom gumbo, and the organic turkey and sprouts. Everything was delicious.

Great brussel sprout salads, great eggs with sweet potato bites, and great freshly squeezed grapefruit juice. However we went on the day of the Saints game, and noticed the servers were very slow with picking up after customers. Again, probably due to the game, and it's called the Big Easy after all
