They have 2 for $22 burgers every day which is a great deal, and they’re yummy. This is an outdoor restaurant only, you won’t know that if you’ve never been before so if you go in the winter be sure to wear something warm. Great local spot.
This is a hidden gem that the people of Eastmark are so lucky to have in their backyard. Such a great relaxed vibe but the food… THE FOOD! Sooooooooo good. I have lived in many places and eaten many things, and the food in arizona leaves much to be desired but HANDLEBAR is the redemption. Not even restaurants in Scottsdale or Gilbert have been as delicious and unique as this awesome little spot. We would rather eat here than any of those spots because of the quality, menu and atmosphere. Great job chef! Awesome options on the menu too. enjoy this pic of the truffle aioli fries because i SCARFED down the archer chicken sandwich before I could snap a pic.that sandwich is bombbbbb!!!
The Handlebar is such a cute little spot. We love the relaxed atmosphere. The kids run around and play at the park. The food is always excellent! The service is hit or miss, often not great. The kitchen is small so if you go on a busy night you can expect a long wait for your food. We enjoy going to Trivia on Thursday nights.
Absolutely love this place! The creme filled churro sundae is my absolute favorite thing on the menu. The Eastmark Cobb salad (no longer on the menu) and the Stay at Home Dad sandwich (side of sweet potato fries tossed with brown sugar) were my go to for lunch or dinner and never disappointed. They have some really fantastic breakfast items too like the Sweet Mascarpone Stuffed French Toast, the Churro Cakes, and the Basic Break-Wich. I love breakfast burritos and the Mat's Signature Breakfast Burrito is the best I've ever had.
Great food at a reasonable price. Summer is rough because of the heat, but they do offer free delivery within a 5 mile radius. Any other time of the year is perfect for sitting out and enjoying excellent food with friends.
Place is awesome! French fries, pretzel and cheese, chocolate shake and lemonade were delicious! Kids love it. Right down the street from the house and now a new spot to grab a quick bite 😉
I eat at a lot of restaurants and in my opinion this little diner has it going on! It’s nestled right in a city park with a splash pad and a jungle gym park for the kids to play on, lots of outside seating. The food was fantastic, and the staff was pleasant. You could tell everyone loved where they worked.
The tombstone was super delicious and pleased with the amount of ingredients! My only ask was the bread was starting to flake apart, so I’d recommend toasting the bread if possible. Other than it was super tasty and Kara/Cara was super friendly and kind! Thank you staff!!
We drove from Tempe to try their chicken sandwiches. Overall everything tasted good, and I couldn't stop eating the fries. It gets very busy so expect to wait for a table depending on the night. Everything is outdoor seating. Big thanks to John, he was hustling to help everyone as quickly as he could. We really appreciate the hard work and the good grub!
The food is beyond a 5 star rating! Just look at these chicken nachos! Love this diner. Service has improved exponentially as of late, also. Food comes out fast, servers are knowledgeable. It's a family favorite and a great date night spot, too.
We love that they have a puppy menu, fantastic food, the service is great, and the atmosphere/people are all so welcoming and doggy friendly! 10/10, will come back way more often!! :D
Very unique little local spot located in the Eastmark Great Park. The diner has a fun retro diner vibe but don't expect a traditional diner setting. There is currently no seating inside but seating is available on their adjacent patio with tv's. You can also order online ahead of time and pickup at the window to-go.
We went on a fairly busy afternoon and although they were short-staffed the service was friendly and as prompt as they could be. The Handlebar Burger was good and I really enjoyed the fries! They serve alcohol and while I only had a beer some of the cocktails and shakes looked enticing.
Will definitely be back when in the area again to try some of the other interesting looking menu items!
If you live in Eastmark and don't go here....you're missing out.
Food - fairly priced and many quality choices. Veggie, Keto, healthy options plus many classic diner options.
Atmosphere - laid back....all that's missing is the beach. I guess the pool will have to do.
Service - super friendly servers and cool technology options for no contact bill pay and menus.
This was our first time but it will be one of our go to options. Close to home and great overall experience.
Had a very nice breakfast here. It's all "al fresco" seating but lots of shade and picnic style tables. The food was excellent. Definitely worth trying!
