Review Auntie Pasto's - Mesa

This cozy yet trendy spot with indoor & outdoor seating did not disappoint đź‘Ź. Homemade Hot Pockets on Steroids!!! Unbelievably delicious and satisfying. There were so many varieties to choose from, but our savvy server told us ahead of time what was sold out. The Guinness Beef and nearly all of the chicken varieties were gone. There were more vegetarian and vegan options than I have ever seen at a restaurant. The dough/ crust was so crispy and flavorful and flaky. They must have a brick oven. The fillings were hot, fresh, flavorful, perfectly seasoned and generous! Bring your appetite. The red wine gravy is addictive. The drinks were okay but very fairly priced. You must try at least once !

I've been coming to this particular location for years now and I love it! The ambiance is great and I always feel well looked after by the staff. The food here is great and standards are consistent. The Hatch Chili Burger is my latest favorite and was introduced to me by one of the servers who always have great recommendation. Their craft and local beer selection is always good and I know there will always be something for me to try. Right now they have The Shop Church Music on tap and I couldn't be happier, it's the perfect pairing with so many of their great pasties. On my last visit I was helped by Christian, who has been my server many times. He does a great job and always takes care of our table. Cornish Pasty Mesa is an institution and makes the area better by being there.

Slayyyyy. Love Cornish pasty. Any and all locations have the same vibe and atmosphere. Darker lit, intimate, laid back, great bar. Whether you’re here for a date or just a family gathering it serves everyone. Go sooner rather than later as they tend to sell out of certain Pasties. Also suggest the Scottish eggs Delicious food!

I've spent a lot of time in England and have eaten some Cornish Pasties. However, it appears that this institution is attempting to meet everyone's ingredient requirements by ensuring a variety of pasties. My Roast beef sarnie was delicious. The horseradish and sour cream sauce was the best.

Love the pub atmosphere. Greek salad was delicious! Hubby liked the meatball appetizer. Good selections of some European draft beers and the flavored iced tea was refreshing. Pasty was a new experience for me but I loved the Guinness stew, portion was perfect and piping hot, cooked to perfection. We finished it off with the toffee sticky pudding. Staff is friendly, quick, and accommodating. Kitchen staff seem happy and appreciated which is always a good sign. Dart boards and billiards indicate a fun nightlife. Would definitely come back again next time we’re in town.

It was actually pretty cool. I went in with some friends, not expecting much besides a bar with food. The staff was very friendly and fun. The food was delicious, and the drinks were mixed well! Great place to stop in, get a drink, a bite to eat and hang with friends or family.

Step into Cornish Pasty Co on Dobson and Guadalupe and prepare to embark on a flavor adventure like no other! As a newbie to the world of pasties, I was thrilled to discover this hidden gem inspired by the history of miners who migrated into Michigan and beyond. With each mouthwatering bite, I couldn't help but feel a sense of privilege to indulge in this delightful fusion of pita pocket, pizza pocket, and a heavenly slice of heaven! Walking through the doors, I was immediately enchanted by the interior—an unexpected blend of a cozy bar and a classy eatery. It sets the perfect stage for a romantic date night or a lively gathering with friends. Though I visited during lunchtime, I couldn't help but imagine the place bustling with excitement under the moonlit sky. So, mark it on your calendar, because next time I visit, I'll definitely be bringing my wife along for a memorable date night. Now, let's get spunky and dive into the delightful details of this pasty paradise! Cornish Pasty Co takes this historic culinary creation to new heights. Picture a golden crust, flaky on the outside yet sturdy enough to hold a treasure trove of savory fillings within. From traditional beef and potato to creative combinations that will blow your taste buds away, their pasties are a feast for the senses. I must highlight the brilliance of their menu, optimized for anyone searching for a sensational meal around the Dobson Ranch area. Each pasty is lovingly crafted, paying homage to the rich mining heritage that inspired its creation. It's not just a meal; it's a chance to experience history with each bite. As I sank my teeth into their signature pasty, the flavors danced on my tongue in perfect harmony. The juicy beef mingled with tender potatoes, while the aroma of herbs and spices infused every bite with an irresistible charm. And let's not forget the crust—the foundation of every great pasty. It was flaky, buttery, and cradled the filling like a comforting embrace. But Cornish Pasty Co isn't just about the pasties. Their menu is a treasure trove of delights, with a diverse range of appetizers and sides that complement their star attraction. From the tangy Buffalo chicken wings to the mouthwatering loaded nachos, there's something for every craving. Oh, and did I mention the heavenly dipping sauces? They elevate each bite to new heights of flavor ecstasy! The staff at Cornish Pasty Co deserves a special mention too. Their passion for their craft and warm hospitality make the dining experience all the more enjoyable. They are more than happy to guide you through the menu, recommend their personal favorites, and ensure your visit is nothing short of exceptional. So, if you find yourself craving a unique culinary experience in the Dobson Ranch area, look no further than Cornish Pasty Co. Indulge in their delectable pasties, soak in the enchanting atmosphere, and let the flavors transport you to a world where history meets gastronomy. Trust me, you'll leave with a full belly, a happy heart, and a promise to return time and time again.

Had been to the Vegas location and loved it decided to try in Mesa az well and they did not disappoint, great selection, we'll curated beer list, the lounge area is super chill and comfy. Our server was very good, we went mid afternoon with a group of 7 and he was a positive talking point for our table. Cheers!

Fantastic food joint! Probably the last restaurant with reasonably priced beer! The food was fantastic, total comfort with incredible flavor! My only complaint was that they were out of a lot of items, but to be expected late on a Sunday from a place with such a delicious menu. Also gives you the excuse to try new things, this places will not disappoint! Zack did an incredible job of taking care of us with his recommendations and service! Must visit!

Their pasta salad is so freaking delicious. I get it literally every time I come here. Every pasty I’ve had has been tasty. A tasty pasty if you will. And their sticky toffee pudding reminds me of watching British television and is also quite tasty.

My husband & I decided to try this place after looking at the pictures of the amazing food posted on google. First let me say, as a couple of color we were hesitant on trying this place because the reviews suggested that this was a mainly white mainstream British bar & eatery. Boy oh boy! I’m so glad that we tried this place despite the reviews stated online. This place was awesome. The seating was spaced nicely, clean tables (despite what reviews said). The hostess sat us quickly (unlike the reviews said) & our waitress was super nice, very attentive but not too bothersome. She even helped us decide on some of the house favorites knowing this was our first time here. She even complemented my mask 🤓. The food was excellent! I had the Pilgrim & my husband had the Shepherds Pie. Not a crumb was left! Worth the wait! In this day & age of “eat & go” I loved talking to my husband, enjoying his company, listening to the cool selection of music & just chilling. This place has a cool bar area & even some leather couches set up like an old school British pub, complete with darts and fun. But make no mistake it’s a pub for sure but definitely a chill spot with a laidback vibe. To end our experience we had the most delicious desserts. I had the PB & banana. The husband had the Caramel apple both a la mode! I’ll definitely come back! Any person black, Mexican, Asian or otherwise would feel welcome here! This place gets my vote on chill, relax vibe, family friendly (lunch time, kids menu, also high chairs), and delicious British pastry! Big thank you to your team! Keep up the great work! Thank you for making us feel welcome!!
