Very good service, excellent food, and a friendly atmosphere with happy banter between the staff and the customers. The veal parm and spaghetti was some of the best I have eaten in AZ, NY, or Europe. Their sauces are freshly made, the pasta is homemade, and the owner told us they also make their own cheeses. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The owner was pleasant to chat with as we waited for our food to arrive at the table. The lasagna was equally impressive and was a large enough serving to eat only half and bring the rest home for the weekend meal.
Best homemade pizza I've ever had! (Even better than Vito's, which is saying a lot because I love, love, love Vito's pizza!) Fresh bread and pizza dough made daily. The basket of bread is SO good!! The owner is from Cicily and makes the best authentic Italian food in the East Valley! You have to try this!!
We had the fire baked pizzas as did our friends. The best pizza this side of Italy! We traveled in Italy and the pizzas at Il Forno are the same! Very good with freshly made pasta sauce, fresh mozzarella and of course their own dough recipe too! Highly recommend it!
This place is very intimate and the food is delicious. My wife and I had the lobster raviolis. Delicious! The service was excellent! Very friendly atmosphere and the Italian music playing in the backgbackground added a nice touch. Highly recommend this place!
Best Italian food in town! I would definitely go back. Even better, I found out they deliver. Friendly service and pleasant atmoshere. If you're in the mood for Italian food, this is the place to go (everything is fresh)!
Great experience. Neither my friend or myself had ever been before. Saw the open sign but looked a little darkninside. Don't let that scare you away, very relaxing and calling atmosphere. Great great food, and very responsible priced. Teonofnus split a 16in 2 toping (special) with sodas and tip was under $25. Highly recommend checking out!

Amazing place to feel the italian spirit in Mesa. Food is really tasty and they have good italian wine selection too. Pizzas are the best I can eat around...fresh ingredients are served. People is also very profesional and kind.
I have stopped here from time to time. Interesting thing, they get better each time I stop in. It may be my selectios. First pizza, so generic of me. Then spagetti. And now the lobster ravioli. Mua! Magnifico. I was taken aback by their new house win. It was delectable. California wins have never quite lived up to my French tastebuds. But this, I was pleasantly surprised. A solid 8. The aeromatics will delight.
Now, I am slightlysad in posting this as I know they are going to grow quickly once noticed. But,if only for a moment, I was able to unwind and enjoy a pallet pleasing meal.
Go now, before the crowds, I know this will be a hit.
If I was to guess why they have not grown, it would be because they sit in the shadow of a Home Depot. Whod think of amazing meals next to a Home Depot. Usually its one of the average cgain stores. How passa. By the way, that is what I ding them for in my star rating.
We have eaten there twice now and both times the food has been amazing, we love having a great local italian food place we can go- we hope it stays around for many years to come. Had the Chicken Marsala with side of the spaghetti and its is the best....
I get my pizza almost every week at IL Formo. I also love the pasta and sausage parmagan hero. I am from Long Island and been to Italy. 3 times. So I am a tough grade when it comes to Italian food. This place in my opinion has the best Italian food. Red White and Brue used to be my favorite IL Forno has better Italian food and then pizza is better. Reminds me of the food in Palermo Sicily.
