Review Nan Zhou Hand Drawn Noodle - Mesa

I saw this restaurant recommended online, so I wanted to check it out. Note, our GPS just took us to the plaza, but didn't show us where the actual restaurant was. If you're looking at the front of the plaza, it's on the far right corner. The options for vegetarians are limited. We ordered #53 Tomato Fried Egg Noodle Soup, #67 Vegetable Stir Fried Noodle, and #85 Vegetable Fried Rice. I think the soup had a meat broth. That's my fault because I did ask for no meat, but I didn't think to ask about the broth. I wouldn't order that again because of the broth. The noodles and rice were really great though. (I've never tried a fried rice that I liked until now.) I think I'd go back for #67 and #85 again. I also ordered the lemon tea based on a Google review. It tasted like a pulpy Arnold Palmer. It was what you'd expect lemon tea to taste like. We went to the window and watched the guy make noodles. He did it so fast and made it look so easy. Googling it later, I found that it's a difficult skill to master.

This was my second time here and it was as good as the first! Fresh noodles and the broth was great! We shared the pan fried dumplings (added chili oil for heat) and went for #49, fried pork on hand drawn noodles (regular)

Really good flavors, friendly service, and very generous noodle portions. We got the Phoenix Dragon and Beef noodle soups. Both were very tasty with good quality ingredients. I liked the quality of the chicken, shrimp, and beef. If you like simpler noodle soups this is perfect for you. I personally prefer a bit more of a flavor packed soup, but that's just personal preference. For a simple soup I really enjoyed it. Prices were very fair as well.

Nan Zhou Hand Drawn Noodle House was delicious. The staff was very friendly and were helpful with the menu. I would like to note that if the chili icon is next to the dish, then it is spicy. I know you're thinking all Chinese places are like this and its never spicy.... Well this place means it so be careful. It was actually nice to get that heat that so few restaurants offer.

Pork dumplings are the best, I always order them. 1st time trying the salt & pepper ribs and would have them again. ❤️ the Dragon Phoenix soup is very good. I always order have shaved noodles. my favorite. This place has wonderful noodles a d its all about the Hand Pulled noodles ❤️

1. Super fast and friendly service at around 3 pm. 2. Delicious cucumber salad (sweet, sour, salty, spicy). 3. Dumplings are HUGE! 4. The hand pulled noodles have awesome texture. Similar to some I had in a Chinese restaurant in Malaysia. ***If you need want more chili oil, you can buy about a pint of it for $5. Great to have to beat the craving***

Tried this for the first time and was happy with the result! The pork ramen was good not great. It was simple flavors almost like a Campbell’s chicken noodle soup flavor. However, the potstickers were massive! And so flavorful. Came with a delicious dipping sauce. And whatever dish my wife got (Andre first picture) was delicious. I mostly ate hers. It has shrimp, beef and chicken in it and was packed with flavor. Excellent and speedy service! Highly recommend trying it out!

The noodles are awesome here. They have a window directly in front of the noodle chef so you can see how your noodles are freshly made by hand. It’s so fun! We ordered a House Special Noodle with chicken shrimp and beef and another order of the Beef Chow Fun with Wide Noodles! Both of them were delicious! The portions are generous and the staff was very kind. I would definitely recommend coming here if you love noodles!

Big portions, fairly priced and delicious! Some noodles and cold dishes can be a little bit too spicy for most people but I love it. But if you are looking for some soupy noodles to comfort your stomach, they also have those as well! The house beef noodle is very tasty and good.

My only complaint is they were out of duck when I ordered, so I asked for lamb and they were out of that too hah. So I went for Beef soup with wide noodles.

Love this place. Since the first time we came by it by accident and watched as they made the hand drawn noodles it’s been one of our favorites. Stop by and have some great food.

You get a ton a noodles for the price and pretty quickly too. The flavor was decent but it wouldn't surpass what you've had in Asia if you've been. Certainly good for being in the states. The texture of the noodles is definitely evident of being hand pulled, which is always appreciated.

Best fried rice I've ever had and excellent customer service. He was always making sure I had enough water. I just wish it was cheaper since $12 for fried rice is a lot.

The best food I've had in awhile. I was visiting my cousin and Google suggested I try eating here. EVERYTHING WE ATE WAS SPECTACULAR! Potstickers, Singapore rice noodles, beef chow fun and sour spicy beef noodle soup. Service was great and ill be driving back from Vegas just to eat here.

We got the beef xo with wide noodles and pork sauce with thick noodles. Delicious, authentic, and fresh. Nothing beats hand-made noodles.

I’ve been wanting to try Nan Zhou out for quite some time now! The Beef noodle soup with scallion pancake was a blast of flavor and very delicious. The service was wonderful as well! Would definitely go again. :)

i really love the texture and flavor of their salt and pepper squid and ribs: crispy and juicy and u can taste that the oil used is clean. The hand pulled noodles are chewy but give so you can chew them and taste the sauce. The fried dumpling are HUGE and a bit crispy but the enormous filling is juicy and flavorful. the fried bread is also buttery and light and who doesnt like condensed milk. This was our first time trying the walnut shrimp and somehow tge breading stayed crispy even with all the sauce and the broccolli was nice and al dente. My brother in law loves the scallion pancake but i did not have any this time. I never use soy sauce or salt at this place only the hot oil because their food is well seasoned. On top of that they will pack your to go containers FOR you. Simple decor, no ambient music but worth a once a week visit.

After driving by this restaurant so many times over the last few years, I finally stopped by and now I wish it had been sooner as the hand-drawn noodles are top-notch. The reviews here don't lie, you'll get generous portions (especially the dumplings, just huge) and the flavors are amazing. The staff is friendly and took good care of us, I can't wait to go back!

Our new favorite spot! Amazing chew on the regular size beef noodles will try the other sizes next time. P.s. the dumplings are huge! Also so welcoming to our kiddos too treated them like they weren't just "noise" very welcoming.
