Review Mi Amigo's Mexican Grill - Mesa

This has been a favorite place to eat since 1996. Their salsa can get a little spicy, but the FAJITAS are sizzling. The chimchangas are a good choice as well. I don't think I've been disappointed while eating here.

Really great spot, I was worried it might be too commercialized Mexican food but it was really solid. I highly recommend it! Letty the bartender is amazing, very friendly, very helpful and very polite and attentive. I'll definitely be coming back.. oh and the fajitas are really good! The chimichanga is good too!!

The food was amazing. Great flavor, cooked perfectly. The entire team of employees were great. Leo specifically was on point the entire time (and we had a group of 10). The chips and salsa starters were so good we almost didn't have room for our actual meals. Will definitely go back.

My husband and I have been wanting to try Mi Amigos for two years now. We finally have the chance to stop in today and make this a reality. We are immediately greeted with smiles, and the doors are held open for us. It is a very welcoming feeling from the very start of this experience. It is steady with some other diners, the atmosphere and ambiance just feels great for lunch. Our waitress, Andrea had chips and salsa on the table as soon as we sat down. She brought water for us right before taking our alcohol orders. I love when water is brought out without having to ask. I had the frozen blue amigo margarita, and to my liking, it had a blue sugar rim with an orange. If you want something sweet I definitely recommend it! We both ordered the carne asada burritos. I had the upgraded chimichanga, delicious. Next time I will definitely get it smothered in some sauce. I still ate every bite of the entire plate and would have licked it clean if socially acceptable, Haha. We both enjoyed this experience very much and we sure hope to dine here again. Service is outstanding, thank you! 😋😊

Outstanding experience. We needed a private room for my a memorial luncheon. It was perfect! Thank you Oscar for going above and beyond to make sure it ran smoothly. Great staff, the server's were all so nice and helpful.

Been coming to this restaurant at all of it's many locations over tree years... This is the last one standing and I'm glad it's still around. Flavorful food with lots of great options, the rice is my favorite of any place. LOVE this shrimp salad, it's fresh and flavorful. Always a friendly staff and pretty quick service.

Alphonso did an amazing job. The food was awesome and the entire experience was perfect. My husband brought me here for our anniversary and I loved it. I recommend this place

We had a great experience at Mi Amigos! Our Lyft driver highly recommend we stopped here. We shared the Guacamole a la Mesa and the Mi Amigo sampler plate. Both were tasty. I cannot eat dairy products but my husband does so part of it they divided for us to make his with the cheese and brought the cheese & sour cream on the side for him. It was well done. Letty our serve took great care of us and was timely.

A very happy surprise. Helpful and friendly service, OK margarita, great tortilla soup (well, it was a bit too heavy on the cumin), chips with an excellent salsa, a citrus carnitas plate with outstanding corn on the side. All in all a very enjoyable dinner.

Great chips and salsa. My husband's plate of food was great. I got a sweet corn tamal. It was like dessert. It wasn't bad, just not my preference

We love the food here and have been eating here for years. I got the Mexican Shrimp Cocktail and it was delicious! Everything was great and very authentic and fresh. We also had a very nice sever that took great care of us.

I forgot to take a picture! I had #3 which is 2 shredded beef tacos, cheese enchilada, rice& beans. It was very tasty. Enjoyed it. The red sauce has a different flavor than most but I really liked it.

I did not expect this to be a mexican restaurant that I'd write a 5 star review on. I arbitrarily popped in because I was hungry and wanted something relatively inexpensive. I ordered the tamale platter and a chile relleno to go. Everything was fresh, visually appealing, and most importantly, delicious! I have every intention of revisiting Mi Amigos, even though I do not live close. It will be worth the drive!

Food and service are awsome. My son and I eat there every Thursday on our lunch break. Ask for Leo when you get seared he's the best

All you can eat enchiladas... the chunky meat was rubbery, the chicken was dry. Cheese was the best. The other two were ugh. My husband couldn't even eat it after the first bite.

I highly recommend this place, from the service to the salsa & food- all were top notch! We have a new favorite this side of the valley! ❤

Absolutely love this restaurant, especially their chips and salsa but tonight the salsa was so hot that it burned my lips, tongue, mouth, and throat, even my husband thought it was a bit spicy and he loves hot food. Ever since they remodeled things have changed, the menu and even some of the recipes on the menu are different. I don't know why they'd mess with something that was already perfect.

Th service was fast and friendly the food was great.Sharing a meal with the love of my life made everything that much better then it probably was but I stand by my review

Service sucked & food was cold. Portion was very small....never again...worse Mexican food I've ever had...���...

The food was good. Service was ok. I asked for guacamole for the chips cuz the salsa was just to hot, never got it but it sure was on the bill!

Had the Street tacos and they were really dry. Salsa was mediocre so that didn't help. Refried black beans were cold. In all fairness, I was attending a crowded meeting and they were having everyone order off the menu.

Mi Amigos is MY all time favorite place to eat. My parents have been taking me there since I was little. I now take my kids there often..Best food around!!
