Review 5 R Cha Thai Bistro - Mesa

I love the garlic dishes here at this location. Normally spicy isn't hot enough, but their food kicked it up a lot. The crispy fried tofu was wonderful. A nice mix of vegetables along with a bowl of rice. Great customer service.

Oh man, let me tell you about this spicy fried fish, it's like a party in your mouth! It's like, BOOM, flavor explosion, you know? I mean, I've had a lot of fried fish in my day, but this one really takes the cake. It's got this perfect crispy, golden-brown coating, and then when you take a bite, BAM, you get hit with this spicy seasoning that just wakes up your taste buds. And it's not just the spice, you know? The fish itself is so tender and flaky, it just melts in your mouth. I could eat this stuff every day and never get tired of it. But here's the thing, it's not just the taste that's so great, it's the whole experience. It's like when you bite into that fish, you feel like you're on top of the world, like nothing can bring you down. It's like all your worries and problems just disappear, and all that's left is pure, unadulterated joy. So yeah, if you haven't tried this spicy fried fish yet, you're missing out, my friend. You gotta get on that train and ride it all the way to Flavor Town. Trust me, you won't regret it.

The food tastes great! It’s very authentic too. I really like the green papaya salad. It tastes like what I used to get when traveling through Thailand. The servers are also really nice. It was her first day, but she was friendly and attentive. Overall, would recommend.

Oh my goodness! The tofu spring rolls with peanut sauce were so filling and tasty that we attempted to get them the day following our initial visit but, unfortunately we got there as they were closing for lunch (I think that's between 3:30-4:30p). The evening before my cousin had a pineapple based dish that she enjoyed so much she referred to it as being an aphrodisiac because of the way it made her feel, lol. I had the green coconut curry and I tell you no lie my mouth is watering even as I type this! I am visiting the area but will definitely stop back there before I head out of town to get some more of that tasty food. It's a 10 out 10, do recommend for me!

My husband and I just had lunch at 5R Cha Thai Bistro and it was so delicious. We ordered the chicken noodle (it’s like chow fun) and the yellow curry with chicken. Ordered the Thai chow mein to go with chicken and I tried it while waiting for dessert. Yum. Ordered the coconut ice cream with Roti and hubby said it was fabulous. The coconut ice cream had pineapple in it so I couldn’t eat it (I’m severely allergic to pineapple). Everything was great. We’ve been in Arizona about 20 months and have wanted to try this place. Sad that we waited so long! We will be back. If you like Thai food, this is the place to go. Our waitress was wonderful (Michele).

Decent but not the best Thai food I’ve ever had. We sometimes order carry out from them when lazy to cook. We like the basil eggplant, pineapple fried rice, bbqs are tasty, Rama is good if you like peanuts. Pad z u and other noodle dishes are generally good. The Pad Thai is on the sweet side, be careful if you don’t like sweet. Their curry dishes are okay, I’ve had better ones. Dine in probably is better than carry out since we feel like some carry out dishes maybe pre-made and frozen. Prices are not bad.

Too much lighting in that place, and they do a lot of take out orders not too many people come and eat there. Idk why bc the food is excellent... Can't do wrong g with the Pad Thai, level 3 heat.

Amazing food and friendly service! I got the chow mein (medium spicy) with chicken. Chicken was super tender and just burst with flavor! Can't wait to go back!

The spring rolls were delish I wish I would have gone with the mild pad Thai vs the mild-medium Service wasn’t bad, it’s just that the order for take out never told me the order was ready Finally after 25 min I figured I should check and found out it had been sitting in the corner 15 minutes….. but the actual human involved in the restaurant was really kind

Always see this place driving on McKellips and finally stopped in with the wife to grab a bite to eat. The staff is friendly and courteous. Our waiter was training someone and we could tell she was nervous but did a great job. Order food and it was very well cooked - came out hot and was delicious. My wife and I agreed we would come back again.

The service here was wonderful, granted, it wasn't that busy when we went (around 2 pm on a Monday) but we were greeted with huge smiles and very nice staff. The food here was delicious and the dessert was even better. One of the best Thai restaurants I've been to here in the valley with a great selection of imported beer - this is the Thai restaurant you've been looking for!

Excellent. I have been searching for a good Thai place in the east valley for a few years and am always disappointed. Hubby and I are food snobs and love finding those hidden gems. I got a Groupon for 5r Cha and we ate there on a whim while running errands. The food was out 5 min within ordering. We will be back, we even ordered another dish 1/2 way through the first because it was super good. We had the drunken noodles, pad Thai, and the wonton soup which my 12 year old son loved, he literally ate it until the bowl was spotless. So happy we found this place.

Was thankful to discover this hidden gem. It was my first experience with Thai cuisine and I was absolutely delighted. I had the Drunken Noodle. It was everything I expected and then some. Our sever was very knowledgeable of the dishes which help alot in my decision to making my selection. My only concern was that the restaurant appears to be catering to the hipster genre and the menu is structured in that way.

Nice atmosphere with excellent food and service. I've eaten at many Thai restaurants in the Valley and this one is the best. Only wish I could take it back to Indiana with me!

Watered down drink, old stale beer...only had an appetizer, Pot Stickers, and they weren't very good. I still want to try the Pad Thai, as I need a Thai Place, but won't be going back for cocktails!

I've eaten at this Thai Bistro since they opened. Always had wonderful meals! When we have guest in town and they like Asian food, I bring them here for lunch. 5 Stars.

I lived in Thailand for eleven months. I think I learned what real Thai food taste like. In my opinion, this restaurant serves the best Thai food I have tasted in Arizona.

Just picked up to go order. The green and yellow curry was like water. We had to doctor it up to thicken it. Pretty tasteless too. Thai Chili is much better.

Fabulous food,wonderful service. Our waitress had been there 10 hours on Valentine's Day and still served us with a smile.

My husband and I love to eat at 5 R Cha! The ingredients are always so fresh and the food has so much flavor! I tend to order the same thing every time we go because it is so delicious! I like the 5 R Cha fried rice with chicken. We recently tried the Thai Tea which is absolutely delicious! Give them a try, you will be glad that you did!

Luv it! Great atmosphere and very clean and they cook everything from scratch upon ordering they have wine,beer and a big TV to watch.....and I love the huge fork and spoon by the restrooms.....awesome place! GREAT FOOD!!!!!
