Review D-vine Wine Bar And Bistro - Mesa

Never disappoints! This restaurant is perfect for when you want a more upscale dinning experience without breaking the bank. I have yet to order anything I didn't like! Additionally they have an extensive wine bar and almost always have live music. I got the bbq chicken burger, three cheese sandwich, and the mac and cheese. I would recommend all of them! The French friends were without a doubt the star of the show.

Had a great time here last Saturday. The food was very tasty. Jacob was our server and provided excellent customer service. Patio was alive with fun live music. Highly recommend this place for both an intimate or a group gathering. Loved it!

The food and wine were absolutely delicious. The service was okay, not super friendly, but they were attentive.

Leroy Sinclair at D'Vine Enjoyed an evening meeting some amazing people. It was an Impromptu gig, that yesterday we didn't know was gonna happen, till November. Leroy played for a packed restaurant and patio but, It really felt like we were in our backyard, with family and friends. The hospitality of the house and staff are exceptional as the Wine and Salmon entrée. Thank you Terri for being so welcoming, it truly was our pleasure.

This is my first visit. We had the Shishito Peppers and the Salt and Pepper Shrimp. Both gluten free and D’lightful! Shane was playing on the gorgeous outdoor patio. Very comfortable and inviting atmosphere. Love it and will be back!

Top notch restaurant. Excellent service and food. Pricey, but well worth it. I was with a party of fourteen and didn't hear one gripe.

I loved this place! Great ambiance! A hidden jewel, tucked away off the beaten path. WildeP'lay played outside by the fire pit, much to the joy of the small audience. I look forward to my next experience there.

They were very nice, yummy drinks and the food was fantastic. Best fillet mignon I've had in a long while. Dinner on patio and the music was really good. Musician was Brian Legate ( we chatted with him and got his name). They gave us a birthday creme brulee on the house! Would totally hang out there again.

Stopped in tonight for a late dinner. We had the best server, Maria. She helped us pick out a bottle of wine and a couple of cocktails. Then she suggested the fried chicken dinner. OMG, best chicken ever! Also brought us extra chicken gravy! So delicious, can’t say enough about the chicken!!! and of course Maria! Thanks for a great night 😀

Our friends took my wife and I out to this place for a birthday dinner and we had a great time. The service, the food and wine were fantastic. The staff was very attentive and gave great direction on the food and wine which was great. Definitely a hidden gem and would highly recommend, will hopefully be back next time we are in town.

Great flavors. Came back for happy hour today. Had a glass of the sangria with ahi tuna, salt and pepper shrimp, and pork empanada. Pork empanada was the best of the three.

I have been a loyal customer of Dvine for 10+ years because it is has always been the best spot in the East Valley for Wine and Food...until now. They have completely gutted the wine list and filled it with mass-market, boring wines. 7 Deadly Zins and Cycles Gladiator are some examples of the drek currently being offered. For reals... This is at a WINE restaurant that once had a wide and diverse list of quality wines and varietals, many from small production wineries. Ownership of DVine is alienating its loyal customer base. The food is still amazing and so is the wait-staff, but the wine list is a joke, which means I will not be frequenting my once 'go-to' place for wine and food. Hopefully they get the point that dumbing down the wine list is going to severely hurt their business. Until that piece changes, I can't give them more than 3 stars...

Friendly staff. Food is terrific. Quiet inside while they have live music on the patio. After dinner, girlfriend and I enjoyed live music and drinks on the patio. Entertainment was great. Will go back to try other choices on the menu.

Truly a gem hidden in NE Mesa. This place rivals any top place in Scottsdale or Phoenix. The food that Chef Ramon creates is out of this world from his daily specials to the amazing menu that is changed each season. The wine list is top notch with a staff that can match that perfect bottle for you and your guests. A bonus is the live music that plays on certain nights as well as a peaceful fire pit area to relax in front of while enjoying that glass of wine. All in all one of our most favorite places to eat!

Went there on Monday for my first time. I have to say I wanted everything on the menu! Sounded wonderful, the food I did order was beyond my expectation my new favorite place! I used to eat at a place next to it but stopped because of bad service and food wasn't like it used to be. So glad I gave this a try I am so happy with the whole experience, food, service and atmosphere are all top notch thank you for a great place in Mesa!

Love this place, had a wonderful Anniversary celebration last night. The waiter was superb, the food was amazing. Always on my list of top places to eat.

Consistently excellent food and a strong wine list. We personally know James, the wine steward and some of the other servers, who all do a great job. Rounding out the the cool factor of Dvine Bistro is the live music they feature...all local musicians who do a great job. Our favorite is John Burak, who knows 1000 songs and performs them all very well, singing and playing piano!

Always exceptional! The cauliflower bites are our "must" appetizer. I love the salmon and my husband loves the short ribs & any burger. We've never had a dish we didn't absolutely enjoy. Great atmosphere and service! Our "go to" place for date night, or with friends, colleagues and out of town company. Chocolate moose cake-DVine!

Had a bday dinner for 8 this week...many had not been there. Even he beer-burger guys loved it! Looking forward to cooler temps so we can enjoy patio and live entertainment. 👍

We love this place, usually go at least once a week. My husbands favorite is the scallop salad, rarely does he order anything else he just can't resist it. I try everything and love the daily specials. Nice place to have a meal, a snack or just relax with a nice glass of wine with friends and family.

Great food, great wine and great staff! Nice place to meet up with friends!

Great local place. Great selection of wine and beer. Original selection of cocktails and food. A bit cramped.

Brought here by friends who are local, food was fantastic, service was great and did I mention the food was fantastic? We will go out of our way to be back again.

First rate wait staff and bartenders. Chef Ramon creates magic every week with mouth mesmerizing tastes and the atmosphere and live music make this a must visit in NE Mesa.

Went there for dinner yesterday and was extremely disappointed to bite into my sandwich and to almost severely injure my mouth on a inch long piece of metal. After informing management, they said it came from tongs that broke in the kitchen. They offered a free dessert and comped the one meal. However, our friend who ordered the exact same food and couldn’t eat it in fear of finding a piece of metal as well had to pay full price and we still had to pay for the remainder of our food and drinks. I understand things happen, and I am not looking for a free meal but due to the severity of this, the customer service should have done more. The meal with the metal was being shared as well. Is comping an entire $40 meal worth less to them then having returning customers? They have lost three customers due to their lack of care or sincerity to this issue. A piece of hair is one think but metal is a serious health concern and I am still dealing with the pain the next day. Go at your own risk.

Tapas from Chicago. 50% more expensive than similar Spanish tapas. In vegas , Thisrrestaurant has no clue what taps or sangria are
as new time says not worth the trip. Service is poor. Don't even go if food is free. You would hurt your taste buds

I have been to d'vine every time I've come to Mesa (I am from Canada) and every time it has been great! Recently I went there with my girl and we had a wonderful time. Being that it is summer it was a little less busy when we can in (around 8:45). We were sat immediately, there was live music and we were eating (literally) within 10 minutes of sitting down. We ordered my favorite, the street tacos, hummus, and a pizza. It was all fantastic!

BEST RESTAURANT IN MESA. Absolutely the best at everything -- wine, food, happy hour, music......I have probably eaten at this restaurant well over 200 times since it has been open. I have NEVER had a bad meal. The service is outstanding!!!
Dora
Always Excellent!!. My Dad and I go here every Saturday evening because we have never had a bad meal. The food is always excellent especially the filet mignon. The staff is friendly and willing to change up the sides or the sauces to meet our needs.
Michael
Great Place. Good food. Not.that pricey at all. Often bring guests from out of town here

Truly D'Vine. Stopped in there to finish up some work between appointments in Mesa and ordered a glass of wine and calamari tacos and was so pleased that this place is on my stop list for every time I'm working in Mesa! Loved it!
Pamela Jennings
The food and wine are so good, the young staff need to chill a little in order not to create indigestion. Love this place.
Rhay
Good but pricey!. 2 glasses of wine and bruschetta cost $50! Nice ambiance and so-so service but gets noisy and crowded quickly.
Linda Lyberg
Can you say disaster? Worst experience ever! Too horrendous and detailed to describe.

Only the Best. I have been going to the D-Vine from the beginning; I've never been disappointed… Last night I had the Bistro Chicken… OMG It was great… If you make changes like that there will be standing room only… Thanks… In the words of "Anton Ego"; I will be returning to the "D-Vine" hungry for more

Great Job. My wife and I went here a few weeks ago for the first time and fell in love with this place. We then brought another couple with us on Saturday night and again.... GREAT JOB!!! The ladies had the Salmon with Risotto and it was excellent. The guys had the Ahi Tuna and it was very good. The wine recommended to us was Palazzo Della Torre which we had 2 bottles. The only negative was that we sat outside not realizing it was the smoking area. There were two ladies that would come out, have their smoke and then had back to the bar. It would be nice to make the outdoor patio non-smoking.

By the way, we found D'Vine based on the reviews posted on Urbanspoon. THANK YOU!!!

Great Wine Bar. Everything a good wine bar should be.

Very good service osso bucco excellent. But the rabbit was under cooked and extremely tough. Though we mentioned rabbit problem there was no effort to make up for it.
Rodney
Very nice place! We were excited to find it, and it exceeded our expectations! Great job D Vine!

This is a great neighborhood gathering spot with superb food, wine, and music. The specials are unique and worth a try. We love the service!

You have to see it to believe it!. This place is great! Live music, interesting artwork, great food, wine list and service... All around great! Prices are actually pretty reasonable too... I had a filet for $26 that looked like something off the food network. You gotta see it to believe it...

***** Superb *****. This restaurant should be rated a 5 star dining establishment. While they pitch themselves as a wine bar, it definitely holds its own on the food front. The menu is always fresh and updated with nightly specials and tapas that range from the traditional expectations through risque and tantalizing creations. I joined their wine club about a year ago and it has let me taste and enjoy tons of new wines that I would have never run across in the supermarkets and although the wines in the club are boutique wines and from new or even some of the smaller wineries the cost is more than reasonable.
Did I mention that they have live music and wine tasting dinners! This is an awesome place to to take a date or friends from out of town. I am sure that they will impress you.
-Brad
